Dougie Imrie

What sort of reception do you think he will recieve tomorrow?

Good player for us when he put his mind to it, but always thought he was better than he actually was. (Saw us as his stepping stone to Rangers)

He is arguably Hamilton's most dangerous player, however he does react to the fans, evident when he attempted a 'square-go' with the Jail End at our 1-2 defeat there last season. Seems like a bit of a jumped up little ned at times and that can totally take his mind off the game. Therefore I think he should be in for a decent bit of abuse after kick off tomorrow, even if for no other reason than to put their best player off his game.

Aye, take a bow Dougie, fantastic goal today.

It is annoying but shit happens...............................still what a way to shut the boo boys up.

If football was a game like tennis or badminton then Imrie would be world class. Unfortunately football is a team game and wee Douglas was only interested in himself.

I was disappointed that Dougie got so much abuse from the home support today. Whatever you think of him as a footballer, he was never lacking in effort when he wore an ICT shirt.

However he is no longer in an ICT shirt, and didn't show us any respect so don't see why he should get shown any. Hate him with a passion.

OH yes he did he would only put in effort when he felt like it or when he wanted to crunch somebody

I felt he was very disrespectful today

celebrating in front of home fans and pulling down one of our players, because apparently something was said to him.

He can F*ck off!!!!

I've heard that Kenny said something to Imrie and Kenny could be band!!!

Aye, he did enough in one minute to shut up the team for the other 89. What is it they say...suck it up!

but rest assured, we will have our moment!

He's an absolute cretin. Tokely should have just lamped the disgusting little jumped up ned at the end.

I think Imrie has a lot of affection for the players and backroom staff at ICT but not for the handful of our so called support who abused him. Personally, I was sad to see him go although some of his behaviour clearly leaves a lot to be desired. But if you don't like a particular player for some reason don't boo him when he's on the ball. By all means jeer and laugh when he makes errors but we all know that booing only serves to motivate players to silence the boo boys. Just because you may think Imrie's a wee nerd doesn't mean you have to behave like a nerd yourself.

When Imrie got the ball in midfield in the first minute he was going nowhere. Then a small number of morons boo'd him. Immediatelty you could see the anger and determination in him as if to say "I'll ****ing show you". He did - and how! The goal gave huge encouragement to Hamilton and drained the confidence of our players. Would he have scored had he not been boo'd? Maybe, maybe not - but what I am sure of is that booing him made it more likely he would shoot - and shoot with venom.

I hope those who boo'd him are proud of their contribution to our defeat today.

Aye, was definitely the fans fault he scored.

yeh booing adds and extra 10mph to each shot and improves the curl of the ball

And get a suspension for a few games - that would be clever.

How Dougie will laugh if he logs on and reads such stupid comments. As if he hasn't got enough to laugh about already.

Chill out, you have made a few unsavoury posts regarding Dougie.

im dont need to chill out im generally this harsh

and whats wrong with telling the truth?

I'm not sure wishing him dead is the best way forward.

i didnt and dont wish for him to be dead, i said "he can go die for all i care"

Everyone who has actually met Imrie face to face has nothing but good things to say.

These fans who were singing about Imrie being a paedophile should wander off and support the old firm. As arrogant as the man is on the pitch, I would still like to have him back in the team.

Haters gonna hate. Playas gonna play.

Good One

I never liked him, and did meet him a few time, I still think he's a bowbag, but the lad at the back the day that kept calling him a c u next Tuesday really did over egg it, he is the sort of ego trip that would play up to it, fair play to him after when he walked round shaking an hugging all our players tho, there that's me being nice.
