I have no problem with last night's red card awarded to Grant Munro by ref Steve Conroy who missed the incident but for the help of his stand side assistant James Bee.

If Munro raises his hand regardless of the theatrical actions of Aberdeen's Chris Maguire he has to go under the letter of the law.

However it seems that Rory McArdle's dangerous two footed lounge on Graeme Shinnie which could have broken his leg merited a straight red and later Nick Blackman

previously booked for his goal celebrations later deliberatley handled the ball then kicked the ball away both yellow card offences yet neither were punished with a second

yellow card.

If it had been in play it would still be a foul would it not?

I actually saw it happen once at Muirton Park. The Saints keeper Ally Donaldson took a kick at Rangers' Willie Johnston while the ball was up the other end and a penalty was given. Mind you I suppose that involved the OF so it's a bad example.

Any of the journos (or club personnel) who read this site have an accurate list of the yellows (and the timings) from this game? On all official stats sites, including the SPL's own site it only shows Munro (red) and McArdle (yellow) as being booked.

People who were at the game reckon that Blackman was also booked and obviously Tokely too as this would put him on 6 yellows and therefore instigate a suspension as noted in the papers.....
