This Saturday (20th).sees Scotland seniors take on Ireland in the first leg at the Bught Stadium. £10 adults £5 concession. With our game against Dundee taking place on the Friday night, this should be a great game and a great occcasion. Who all fancies it? I‘ll be there with Govan Jaggy and others. Throw in at 1.15.

I think they should do more games where teams from different sports play one half by one teams rules and the other half by the other.

If my memory serves me correctly, it's 4o mins each way (Hurling normally 35 mins EW & Shinty 45 mins EW) so could fit in nicely.

With a 1:15 start at the Bught and 40 minutes each way, the shinty-hurling should be over by about 10 to 3 so both games should be just about do-able in entirety.

The idea of the cubans boxing whilst wearing the dressage clobber and the dressage team clad only in a pair of boxing shorts whilst bouncing around on their mounts is not without appeal.
