Here's a place to ask those weird ICT related questions no-one else thought of.

I'll start us off with two that have been on my mind lately -

About ten years ago, did they netting in the goals at the Caley Stadium have "ICTFC" woven into them? I seem to remember that it did, but am not entirely sure.

Now this one really is weird -

I seem to recollect that there were rumours in the late 90s in the local media of Barcelona and Athletic Bilbao coming to play in two pre-season friendlies. Was this really on the cards or was it just in one those weird ICT related dreams that I sometimes have?

Someone please put me out of my misery!

Anyone remember when we used to play Livi? Bit of a "derby" style match for us so I thought I would check out some of the old pictures on CaleyJags.com and came across this beaut of Richard Brittain

Didn't we start out as Caledonian Thistle?

 

Were the toilets at Telford Street Park painted red and black in our first season in division 3?

 

Did all the Bolton wanderers fans spend half time having an every man for himself kick about on our pitch during a pre season friendly against us?

 

Did Alan Hercher score a hat trick from 3 consecutive corners in our first league match?

 

Was Richard Hastings really our designated set piece specialist in the early days?

 

Did Tokely once play in goals for us after we used all of our subs?

 

Did Mark McCulloch score a 30 yard piledriver, with his weaker foot, in the last minute of injury time, in a Scottish Cup replay against Dundee United?

 I think it may, ironically, be Liam Fox - before he went on to become a Livi legend!

Did we make a move to sign Michael Mols in 2004 not long after being promoted? I seem to remember something about that. As I recall he was a free agent having just left Rangers but ended up moving out to Qatar to play with the De Boer brothers. 

Did David Raven really pull off an incredible backheel pass while sitting down on Saturday or did I dream it?

Did we reach the League Cup Semi-Final two years in a row or did I dream it?

You did dream that one. It was the Scottish Cup

Is it just me, or has the pitch moved over the years?  Myself and a few folk round me in the North Stand were talking about this a while ago, as the goals and the corner flags seem further away than they used to.  We weren't sure though if it was or not and it was just our imaginations.

When I'm sitting at Telford Street I can't really disagree with that, they definitely have moved a bit. 

Renegade - I am available to provide an assessment and recommend treatment. I am interested as it is rare for a group of individuals to share the same perceptual disorder.

Not sure about Mols but we did try and sign Scott Booth, who knocked us back for a seat on Setanta.
