Rather than starting a new thread each time there's a snippet of news regarding a former player, this thread can be used for such info.

In a similar vein to the 'Ex ICT players score' thread.

I see that Dougie Imrie has signed for Hamilton Accies. Has he still 'got it' for the top-flight? He's just endured a depressing season with a very poor Morton side. What I'm really surprised about is that he's only 30 - I always thought he'd come into senior football at a relatively late age, being snapped up from the juniors - he seems to have been around for ever!

Reluctant to wish him too much luck as he's obviously going to be in direct opposition to us next season!

In a tight last day in the English Championship, Graeme Shinnie’s Derby are currently on course for relegation.

They either need to turn round a half time deficit and beat Sheffield Wednesday, or get a draw in their own game and hope Cardiff at least get back on level terms against Rotherham.

It all changed at 1416. Cardiff equalised against Rotherham with 2 minutes to play to relegate Rotherham, whilst Derby got back to 3-3 against Sheffield Wednesday and managed to hold on to stay up and relegate Wednesday.

I’m just relieved we were not in a similar position last Friday evening, as I vividly recall our relegations on the last days of the seasons in the past.

Conor Pepper will be playing in Europe next season for Linfield after they won the Irish Cup for the 44th time - they look pretty certain to win the Irish Premiership too.

The Bellshill Cafu has put St Johnstone a goal to the good. Just a Shaun Rooney world and we're just living in it.

After the torrid start he had at St Johnstone, he must be their hero now. Two cup finals and two winning goals, in both cases with the only goal of the game. Has the same player scored the only goal in both the Scottish Cup and League Cup finals in the same season ever before?

In the absence of paying a transfer fee for Rooney, wouldn’t it be nice if St Johnstone could give us a wee cut of the cup prize money and potential £3M Europa League group stage revenue resulting from these vital goals.

There will be no chance of that Yngwie if we had seen his potential and secured him on a longer contract he might still be here.  They have been smarter at the business than us so we need to learn from that.

Dean Brill has joined Tottenham Hotspur as a goalkeeper coach. Good luck to him.

Josh Meekings signs for Brora on a 3 year deal.

Statement of intent.

We don't have that sort of financial clout, or a fictional job description to charge his wages against.

Ian vigars been offered a contract at cove.

Three (3!) year deals for Vigurs and Draper at Cove and Polly looks likely to sign for Killie later today / this week.

Amazing financial muscle on show again from Cove..what is their average attendance anyway?

I'm sure Vigurs can show Draper all the best places in Aberdeen to start on the door staff.🥊

Three year deals to players aged 32 and 33: seems an amazing decision by Cove, particularly as they both have had injury absences quite regularly. Presumably they had to offer that length of contract to get them.

Sounds like Polly will sign a two year deal at Kilmarnock. Hughes had been after him for County but that interest obviously died when he left himself.
