Ex-ICT players' news

Rather than starting a new thread each time there's a snippet of news regarding a former player, this thread can be used for such info.

In a similar vein to the 'Ex ICT players score' thread.

I see that Dougie Imrie has signed for Hamilton Accies. Has he still 'got it' for the top-flight? He's just endured a depressing season with a very poor Morton side. What I'm really surprised about is that he's only 30 - I always thought he'd come into senior football at a relatively late age, being snapped up from the juniors - he seems to have been around for ever!

Reluctant to wish him too much luck as he's obviously going to be in direct opposition to us next season!

A rare start for Alex Fisher for Exeter in the League 2 play off and an assist as they made the final.

And he’s started at Wembley tonight in the play off final. Must be weird in a ground that size with no crowd. It must be a big anti climax for players who probably never thought they’d play there.

No word on Cap'n Gaz for some reason. According to FotMob, Gaz left Torquay in February. And has only made 5 appearances overall for Exeter since leaving Yeovil. Looks like he's surplus to requirements...

Fisher subbed after 52 minutes and his team is being well beaten it seems.

I didn’t watch it to see how he played.

Poorly. Very poorly.

Not exactly on message but my English team, Fleetwood (as I lived 8 miles outside Blackpool for 8 years but Fleetwood were their less glamorous neighbours who made an amazing rise through the leagues) got thrashed 4-1 at home in the League 1 play off first leg, finishing with 9 on the park.

Oh dear.

I see Jake Mulraney was playing for Atlanta Utd tonight in the US Major Soccer League.  He managed to get sent off in the 26th minute after a second yellow card!  :yellowcard::redcard:

As he managed to do with two bookings in about three minutes once for us when he lost the plot.

Checking the weekend’s results, Charlie Trafford came off the bench and got 20 minutes as Hamilton were thrashed by Celtic. Didn’t see George Oakley in their squad so checked and he is now with a Bulgarian team, Pirin Blagoevgrad.

Shaun Rooney was an unused sub yesterday in St Johnstone’s draw with Dundee United, with Jamie McCart starting.

Rakes of Ex Caley players in the nights fixture of C*unty vs Motherwell. Coll, Vigs and Snakey Mckay all starting for the Wee Team with Drapes on the bench. Polly starting for the Well with Jordan on the bench. Interesting that Carly isn't in the XI or on the bench...

Jordan gets subbed on for his Prem debut and instantly makes an impact when Coll drags him down in the box, shame the Well couldn't convert it for the equaliser.

Not quite related to the thread, but couldn't find anywhere else to put it.

But C*unty's most famous thing to happen to them since...err...

As there's bog all to do, been scrolling through my Facebook and came across this. Anyone remember it? When the Daily Mail got Michy Batshuayi and our own Mr Mutombo mixed up.    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3686568/New-Chelsea-signing-Batshuayi-sees-red-Spanish-police-tow-away-180-000-Lamborghini-holiday-Ibiza.html

Just had a look at the BBC Sport app for tonight’s games. Five of our former players started in tonight’s matches and all five have been booked! Donaldson, Draper (who also scored) and Vigurs for County, McCart for St Johnstone and White for Motherwell. Polworth, Mckay and Rooney used as subs by Motherwell, County and St Johnstone.

Marley Watkins has joined Aberdeen on loan from Bristol City until January.

Great signing for them

Richie's managed to get his breakthrough in the sportswear industry, kit supplier of Strathspey Thistle.

Ryan Christie starting for Scotland tonight against Israel, whose goalie incidentally appears to be wearing one of the new ICT away tops 😏
