INVERNESS CALEDONIAN THISTLE WOMEN 0
GLASGOW GIRLS & WOMEN 4 (Shields 35’, 45’; Gorman 55’; McKee 75’)
Two goals in each half saw Inverness Caledonian Thistle fall to a dominant Glasgow Girls and Women side at Millburn Academy on Sunday in the Barclays Scottish Women’s Championship season. A first-half double from Brooke Shields was added to by Ruth Gorman and Caitlin McKee in the second period as the visitors took all three points and consigned the hosts to their first home defeat since the middle of September.

That's a score for the men's team to target. 🙃

Cmon Scott K there's a challenge for you.

Well done ladies.

Would live to some of the ladies team after thd men's game in the trust bar.

The mens team mixing after the game in the bar has been fantastic reconnection of team to fans. It would be great to share some of that love to the ladies team.

Could we put their highlights up in bar after match ? Or before. ?

It’s not the Trust,s Bar. The recently named Bar 94 is the Clubs…….. whether you are a member of the Trust or not. It is currently staffed by Trust volunteers, who are doing a decent job at revitalising the space.

It’s worth remembering that the previous regime didn’t want the bar at all and it had lacked care and investment for many years. At one of the Fans Meetings, Ross Morrison told fans he was looking to rent it out to a medical company.

The Supporters Trust saw it had potential and funded the improvements (that were carried out by volunteers), rebranded it, secured Dog Falls as a partner, extended the opening hours, and got volunteers to staff the bar.

It is now very much a partnership between the Trust and the club: the Trust runs it, the club profits from it.

It is great it is now somewhere fans wish to use, and that Scott Kellacher and the players are joining fans there after games.

That’s a right battering 😱
Mind you if Stirling Uni are anything like their men’s team they’ll be more or less full time footballers with a scholarship to become PE teachers tacked on the side…

Came up on YouTube last few minutes. Don’t want to steal your thunder IBM but thought I would post on here.

Good win and a special congratulations to Freya Soden who made her 1st team debut at only 15.

Here's how the Barclays Football Scottish Women's Championship table looks going into the winter break.

A big cup game for the women on Sunday.

It is perhaps a reminder of the huge gap in quality between the 2 divisions.  Whilst our women are having a great season in the league, Dundee Utd are isolated at the bottom of the premiership having got just one point from their 14 games with a goal difference of minus 71.   Give a thought too to Westdyke who are struggling in the Championship and were drawn against high flying Rangers.  Westdyke will have been delighted to score a goal, but unfortunately, Rangers scored 24 in reply!

With investment in Women's football increasing throughout the country and many more young girls coming into the game, general standards look set to rise.  If our women's team is to continue to be successful at Championship level or even get a toe hold into the Premiership, it is clear that the brilliant work that has been going on in recent years needs to be built upon and expanded.  There is now a pretty solid foundation for the development of women's football in the city and it is exciting to see the progress being made.  We do, however, need to be realistic and understand just how wide the gulf is between where we and the top teams are.

Shout out to the U14 ICTWFC Reds who were crowned champions of the Rachel McLauchlan North League today, after a 3-1 win in a play-off with Forres. 🏆🔵🔴🔵😁
