Me too. Good luck Mark - Buckie thistle are very lucky to have you.

Madness that a keeper of his ability is now playing Highland League.

Mark has been a reliable keeper for us over the years and its quite a coup for Buckie to get him signed on. Its not always about money and Mark has been forced jnto doing whats best for him and his family at this point in his career.

Another masterstroke from the current regime that allowed this to happen to a decent guy and great servant to the club, treate shabbily, like many more this season.

Yes but accommodation costs must have been too high don't you know. Better to bring in someone from Dundee United.

Strange isn’t it, county looking for a 3rd choice keeper. Elgin, cove, Peterhead, other Scottish league clubs not interested.
Maybe Buckie looking to win the league again this year, get the required license to get into the big time. Hope he has a good season.

Best of luck to Ridgers, who was a great keeper for us.

Was our decision not to offer him anything a financial one or does the manager not rate him sufficiently? I would think it was primarily financial given that, if I remember correctly,  we didn’t offer extensions to ANY of our first team and only some of the teenagers got re-resigned.

Echo the thoughts of others and wish Mark, as well as any other players pushed out by this Junta the very best for the coming season and beyond. Hopefully, some of our most loyal servants can be tempted back to a coaching or other role within the club at some point in the future when we re-establish a forward-facing community club ethos.
