Champions League

Rangers now leading Lyon three nil. Whatever your view of the tenants of Castle Greyskull, that reflects well on the SPL.

Great result fot them. Bit lucky though, Lyon hit the woodwork 3 times!

BTW, Castle Grayskull is where the good guys live in He-Man. So by paying Rangers this compliment you must be a bit of a fan eh?  :004:

I'm not a Rangers fan by any means but tonight's performance was really impressive and they played really well and played for each other. The Cousin long pass to Beasley which resulted in the third goal was sheer class. Walter Smith is certainly making a difference at Ibrox.  :003:

Why was Gers shirt sponsor blotted out for this match (not that that's a bad thing mind...it is Carling after all)?

Alcohol sponsors aren't allowed in France apparently

Yeah, no alcohol advertising allowed on TV there. For the same reason, the last few times the Scotland rugby team have played France away, the jerseys were specially changed from "The Famous Grouse" to "TFG".

The idea was that Scots viewers would still know what the advert means, but it would be lost on French audience. By the same logic, Rangers could have changed theirs to "Fizzy P1sh".

:rotflmao:  superb!

Surely "Fizzy Tepid Pish" would be more suitable for a Rangers top...
