I BELIEVE ..... in Brewster

Watching a game in person gives you a different perspective to listening to it online or hearing about it third hand. After today, I just want to say that I think Brewster may well be turning the corner and be a decent manager ... if off-field stuff can be sorted.

I enjoyed my first game in person for a while, saw some good performances (and some not so good ones) but I now believe (will expand on this later as I only have limited internet access right now)

The power of reason Johnboy ... you should try it some day !!! It allows you to change your opinion based on actual events and admit you were wrong !!!

It wasnt a wonderful performance yesterday, and I agree that it was a "meaningless" game in the general scheme of things, but I spent much time watching what Brew/Malky were doing, and how certain players were (or were not) performing. Based on what I saw with my own eyes, and comments I have received first hand from a few sources this past week, I realise I may have been too hard on Brewster and too lenient on others and will expand on this when I return to normal internet availability during the week.

Fair play to you Scotty for admitting that you might have been wrong.  I must admit I was quite surprised when I read some of your anti Brewster comments in recent weeks.  As things progress, (the Black and Wyness situations just as examples). it is becoming clearer that Brewster wasn't quite the 'baddy' he was painted.  I wonder if there will be other anti Brewster posters eating humble pie in due course.

Am I delusional,or did Brewster shake hands with each player he sub'd during the match? Never noticed him doing that before.

Little things mean a lot.           :clapping03:

yes i noticed that 2 and was very surprised by it

Ok Scotty.... apology accepted...!!

I wasn't there yesterday but I'm very impressed with what I've read about Marius... I've had serious concerns equating his contributions to the team effort in relation to his earnings...

I believe my concerns have been shared among some of the players...  I don't think this has been a jealousy situation regarding his wages, more a case of questioning his fitness and sharpness and overall contribution....  Had he been a huge success from Day 1 at ICT his wages wouldn't have been such a big issue. There has been a steady improvement in his play since he arrived and it could be interesting to see how much further he can progress.

I thought it would be better for all concerned if he moved on at the end of the season.... Now I'm pleased to say, I'm not so sure about that....  :024:

It's a great thing - the power of reason...!!

I like to think that I'm fairly open minded but I am still a long way short of being convinced that Brewster can move the club forward.

im afraid im another who will not be eating humble pie. One good result doesnt turn things around. he in my opinion doesnt have a clue how to manage a football club and yesterday was one of those games where we were up against a worse side on the day.

Who else would we get?  Paterson has freefalled all the way down, Robertson is a grumpy ar$ehole, Baltacha is probably a builder now and no other managers will take a chance on us.  And please don't say Derek Adams. :33: :33:

Colud it be that the club is now falling back into place?

I wonder if Scotty had been in attendance at the last game vs Killie (or the 10 or so on either side of it), would his power of reason held the same conclusions :024: I also wonder if part of his feelings are clouded by the actual day itself.....being round mates and doing things he seldom gets the chance to these days

What utter garbage - fer serious this time - Brewster lost the dressing room the first time around, left us in the lurch is is little different now.

He didn't lose it first time round.... For him, a man of limited intelligence, the lure of DUFC was irresistable...

He did look to be in danger of losing the dressing room a couple of weeks back, but lets give him some credit for getting on top of it again

:clapping03: :clapping03: :clapping03: two magnificent wins and two magnificent performances - against form sides as well.  :sillywave:

Absofuckinlutely....  :022: :022:

Ach well - you were taken in by the Brew appointment fiasco - I suppose you can also be easily taken in by the false team spirit "show" - just makes him slighty more difficult to boot into touch - pity he didnt consider CC just as much !!  :018:

Are you still living in hope of a Richard Gough - Colin Hendry dream team taking over...?

Excellent result yesterday, but there are some posters who will not be happy until Brewster leaves. I for one have a lot of time for him and have been frankly fed up by the about of negative and personal posts against him. Yes we have had a poor spell, but also a great spell over Christmas. I have not heard anyone suggest a better manager (IMHO) who could take his place and stay (he has been given a second chance by ICT and I think he will reward the club with some loyalty).

Brew will be here next season................Lennon's not quite ready for the role yet :023:
