Dalneigh Caley....Aggressive defender who has a bad boy reputation, but he is unfazed by that and his positive play outweighs his negative approach. 3. Caley100...........A big Dick who has made the position his own since another Dick moved on. Sometimes appears as though he is from another galaxy, but never shy to shout encouragement to other players. 4. tm4tj.............Why of course, who else, it's me. Well, I picked the team so it's only fair. Following in the waistband of Big Bobby. 5. Big Stu...........Giant stopper who is built like a brick sh!thouse. Been around all the Highland Parks, although he can't remember most of them. 6. Mee..............Great sweeper, well it keeps her out of the kitchen and doing the ironing, and anyway you need a womans touch sometimes. Has been caught out manicuring her nails and brushing her locks when things are quiet. 7. RIG..............Olde head on young shoulders. Built like a racing snake and combines well with his partner. 8. Scarlet Pimpernel..Young head on olde shoulders and compliments RIG well. Has the ability to ghost past defenders in a cat like manner and has a great footballing brain. A thinking mans Einstein. No thoughts about retiring yet and his experience is vital. Could still head a wet leather ball with loose lacing with ferocity. 9. The Mantis......Predatory striker. Prays on his victims with uncanny accuracy and teaches the rest how to score. Has a photographic memory and can still recall the glory days of Telford Street. 10.Charles Bannerman..Athletic prowess gets him through most games although too many all day breakfasts at Cobb's has seen the diminutive playmaker struggle against all odds to make it right up Stephens brae during training stints at the Heathmount. 11. Mahonio...........On a good day, can be very good, on a bad day can be very very bad. Bit like Hayes sometimes, but when things go wrong he reverts to type. The Bench:- IHE............Typical Highland laddie. Likes to play in the hole and not shy with his tackle. Takes others from behind and unable to perform for the full ninety minutes, hence the bench for Johndo, but a must on the away day bus, helps to keep the team spirit.......usually vodka. Andy M................controversial choice, but his reputation means that he has been red carded and may miss this game. Alex Macleod.........What an unusual name, but his knowledge of the game is second to none, in fact, he wrote google. Alternative Maryhill..Likes a challenge, that's why his hair is like that. Always willing to help others and vital to come off the bench in games of epic proportion. Johnboy..............Always quick to spot an opportunity, but a bit too predictable at times. More suited to carpet bowls or dominos, but still gives his best when not golfing. Carpet slippers and pipe have seen him slip to the bench since signing from the Pars. MissICT..............Another youngster making steady progress. Can now use joined up writing and colouring by numbers. Capital letters now being attempted and needs more work on the photgenesis, but patience, Rome was not built in a day. davie..............Pint sized contributor. United in his lust for all things ICT. He would climb Everest if he could cycle there and always comes good on the big occasion. Manager..........Scotty. This man has an eye for talent, especially if it has an ISP with it. Great manager and likes to move with the times. Grass does not grow under his feet and if the performances are poor, he will have no problems administering changes. Ruthless approach has earned him the knickname of The Terminator. Crowd.............Section G........Give it up for Roy boyz

I wonder if Brian Kerr wishes he gambled and taken the 1 year contract we offered him after we were relegated. I will be dissapointed if Dundee go out of buisness as it is yet another club going out of buisness due to financial problems. Sure the wrong decisions get made and the club gets burnt but its the fans who imo suffer the most. They lose their club, some lose the club they have supported all their lives, some lose the club they have just started supporting. If you like football you need a team to support and losing your team would be quite an upsetting situation for many fans.

Personally I hope Fraser does well in Malta. I can't help thinking there has been undeserved negativity aimed at him, not only in this thread but other similar ones, since he left us. Admittedly he isn't as good a keeper as his predecessor, Mark Brown, nor his successor, Ryan Esson, but nevertheless I feel he did an adequate job for us. I prefer to remember him more favourably for his 'out of this world' save against Celtic, which as much as anything else won that memorable 3-2 game for us. Good luck to him.

This was a just a gamble that really didn't pay off All Dundee fans have my sympathies and I hope it never happens to us.

Main team?! MAIN TEAM!??? Well, Gordy, an accident of birth caused me to be born in Burnley and I've supported them for 50 years. I've only been following Caley for 10 years and have only seen 8 games........but I'll be there against Kilmarnock! I've seen them 6 times away AND NEVER SEEN THEM LOSE! (twice at home and lost them both!!) Back to Sheff Utd, they've got a cheek. It must have been given to them - no reason to have bought it - so it's a bit mean to sell it in such a public way. Shame on them - typical Yorkshire!

The game can not and will not be played on a Saturday. It will be played on Tuesday 23rd November as advised. This date will definitely not change, so it won't be moved to a Saturday, no matter how much you would like it to be. So just to make it clear it will be held on Tuesday 23rd November with a 7.30pm kick off. November is because that's the date Ross County set and nothing to do with Roy potentially leaving in . Roy has a contract until the end of the season, so there would be little likelyhood of him going anywhere in January. I'm kind of remembering why I don't post on here much now

Don't tie your hands behind your own back, are we all as well informed about our clubs finances as we'd like to think? Our limitted budget as it was last year was still unsustainable for us in the first division and was also one of the biggest given we had one of the largest squads. We had a few decisions go our way in the run in and Dundee lost their bottle, had it gone the other way Dundee could be in the SPL with a healthier bank account, we'd probably be struggling mid to lower table in the first with a much reduced squad/budget and possibly a new management team. There but for the grace of God... Enjoy what you have but don't forget where you came from.
