  1. After a while of working out (and asking some-one) a few days in that photo there was a lad in the 25 top and a smaller lad behind him who turns out to be Kerrea Gilbert the ex aresnal full-back Played a few times for aresnal including a sub appearance in the champions league Thoughts? Would sound like a good signing anyway

  3. Hmmmm I'm not sure, I think it's the arms that do it wish they had of been red or blue to match the collar, black just looks a bit out of place. Don't get me wrong I like it but not sure I love it if thaty makes sense. I'll still buy it though, anything to support the club.

  5. Don't know, the defence looks potentially a bit flimsy as Proctor ain't much good and Aldred is as of yet an unknown package. The midfield is far too lightweight and Tade up front could be great or could be rubbish (or both!). This is one of the most important periods in Butcher's time as boss I reckon. It's a risk - if he gets it right, he and the club could have a good season - if he gets it wrong then it'll be bye bye Butcher and maybe even to the SPL.

  6. Relax and think about things, Rooney has to make sure he does what is best for himself, he needs to keep any interested clubs happy. If he comes out and says goodbye to the Inverness fans he risks having the dorr shut on signing for us if no better offers crop up, if he openly says that he is considering an offer anywhere he risks putting other clubs off coming in for him, if he is in talks with another club they may have asked him to be quiet on the matter so talks go more smoothly. TB likes to opperate in the transfer market quietly and has been commended for that, I am sure many other managers and clubs feel this is the best way to proceed also, not everyone does their transfer business in the Sun and Record like the old firm.

  7. Its actually 3 signings but your point is a good one. Terry said in the courier he expects to announce more signings next week. Hope there good ones.

  8. With so many players leaving the club in the summer and only 2 so far arriving, is it time to push the panic button? The season starts in 4 weeks and we are very very short in a few areas, especially in defence. Is TB going to be announcing any new signings soon? I really hope so.

  9. Innocent until proven guilty and all that ..... If Hearts sacked him for being charged with a crime then they might have been on a sticky wicket in terms of employment laws. However, IMHO, they should have torn up his contract the second he pled guilty. There are some crimes that are forgivable...we can all do stupid things and have a price to pay if we get caught doing them. There are also more serious crimes where you can say you are "going through a learning curve" and after accepting your punishment you will aim to be better and not do it again. However, IMHO, crimes against children do not fall into either of those categories where I would be willing to forgive and forget. Children lose their innocence all too soon these days and anyone seeking to hasten that process or to use their social standing (ie. professional footballer) in this manner is just scum, pure and simple. To their credit, most Hearts fans want rid of him too !

  10. Pity I had hoped he'd leave. Doubt any other SPL club would have offered him a contract though

  11. Totally over the top IMHO, get the impression that this is no more than fishing. Can you name a better player who we could get to fill the role that he holds for us at the moment? Proctor isn't any better than Duff, in fact I don't really rate Proctor, yes at times I slagged Duff off for being poor and lumping the ball aimlessly forward but looking back it was in games where the whole team were poor. What I would say about Duff is that positionally he has good awareness and positionally is quite sound, he does need to work on his passing and distribution and if that improved he can offer us an awful lot more, far more than Proctor would who I believe is still there as he wasn't out of contract.

  12. I seem to remember people 2 seasons ago wishing the new away top was white, then we got it. Now people are bored of white? Hmmmmmmm..... Im into it, think its a bit different with the blue and red trim. Ill be buying it, but then i would whatever it looks like.

  13. Beyond caring really. Should have made an announcement before this. If he had said thanks but I'm off, he'd have gone with my best wishes. Now, it's just stringing us along, stopping any planning. Sure, I know he's entitled to swan off without so much as a goodbye but he'll end up being resented as opposed to a former hero. So, once and for all - you signing or not, Adam!? :irritated:

  14. Nah, don't like it. Best ever home kit at the moment, one of the worst away kits yet and there's been some bad ones! And white again? Is there no one with any imagination at this club?!
