Whenever people say which English/Spanish/Italian team they "support", it's always one rolling in money! Funny that!3 points

No mention of a previous yellow on BBC. I don't know if this one is really worth appealing but please get this into context. If, as IHE rigtly says, you take the aggression out Foran, you end up with half the player. Anyone remember what he was like when he was younger? Pussycat nowadays. As for OTJ, it's entirely different. Never been sent off or suspended before, he lashed out like a laddie genuinely concerned about another injury. Neither of these indicate a discipline problem at the club. Just a couple of episodes of daftness.3 points

I realise we need the money from TV sponsors to run the club, but I hate how it ruins the match day experience. Many of our fans travel from afar and will now need to take a half days holiday. I love the Saturday pre match build up. The craic in the pubs. Now with a Friday game, for most people it will be straight from work to the football - not the greatest day out! The game gets moved for the convenience of folk not even going to the game, i.e. neutrals. We have to sacrifice what would have been a great Saturday outing for the convenience of ESPN. But if we didn't have the TV deals then the game would be dead. Either way it's a lose lose scenaria for supporters who like to savour the match day experience.2 points

Well overused at the end of last season but... ' The Man City fans haven't been this happy since they were Chelsea fans'.1 point

Had great plans for the game with a group coming up. Knew it would be change but expected early Sat or Sunday, but Friday! Oh well that is going to be 8 down in the stands. Will probably even struggle to get a Glasgow pub to show it! Raging. Plus! We don't win on Fridays!1 point

there was a photographer taking a lot of pics of the ICT fans at the Hearts game. Are these online anywhere?1 point

There's an awful lot of Man City fans kicking about these days as well. Four seasons ago they would have been Chelsea fans!1 point

I am picking up a general feel good factor from contributors to the forum this season. In general people like what they see but they are not going to go on and on about it. The nature of a forum is to discuss things which are controversial and hopefully we can do so in a way which can be both humerous and respectful. If anyone does not like the way particular folk contribute then they don't have to read their posts. In football as in other things, the way to guarantee medioctity is to focus on praising the good and to brush aside the bad. The way to success is to acknowledge and praise the good but to focus on the bad and to try and eliminate it. You can be sure that the coaches of all the medalists for team GB did just that. You don't improve unless you understand what is not 100% and then work to improve on it. I would hope and expect that if we were top of the league we would still have people on this forum criticising certain things and making suggestions for improvement. I would however be very disappointed if they did not also recognise it was brilliant to actually be top of ther league. This season has stated with some promising displays and a change of style. There is a lot to be optimistic about but let's be honest, the big talking point has to be the sendings off of 2 of our most experienced midfielders and I really fail to see how discussing that can be called negative.1 point

And what do you think you gain from saying the same thing over and over again? You can't post ANYTHING these days without closing with a swipe at someone. We're 3 games in to a new campaign, a campaign a few people had written off before a ball was even kicked because in their eyes no signing Butcher was ever going to make would be good enough....and/or he's never going to be good enough. Instead of admitting that they might have got it wrong, or that it's not as bad as they claimed it would be, they choose instead to latch on to any and every problem/glitch as if it somehow justifies their previous stance.....and you reckon Butcher is the Narcissist? IMO, your BS and negativity does nothing but act as a magnet for further BS and negativity....and that has driven away many of the best contributors to this site. Anyone who disagrees with you or challenges you is shot down with accusations that they are just a "happy clapper" or they somehow don't have the brain power, wherewithal or mental aptitude to be taken serious....if not that then you fall back on the tired old "it was sarcasm", "you took the bait" lines. We're not Man Utd, Barcelona or any such team, and that means our players aren't the best in the world and we have a manager who isn't perfect....get over it because it's not going to change any time soon. In fact, get over it because for a City the size of Inverness, with a club that has the resources we have, then we're actually doing not to badly....and that deserves far more praise than it does criticism. Nobody is asking that anyone ignore things that go wrong, but reading these forums at times would make you think that nothing was going right. To read these forums the last couple of weeks you wouldn't think that ICT were playing some of the most entertaining football we've seen for a long time. Some of the squad must be wondering what they have to do to please the fans when they get little more than a passing mention on the matchday thread whilst one moment of madness/stupidity (call it what you will) gets so much attention. Heck, even when someone does try to start a conversation that's a bit more positive, along you come to chit on their parade. If wanting to start of the season in positive mood, behind the team and trying to do my bit to spur them on and give them credit for the good stuff makes me an "erse licking happy clapper", then send me the t-shirt and I'll wear it with pride.1 point

What a feckin erse licking happy clapper you have become Don !! My posts this season have been ultra positive but realistic. My opening post did have a flavour of sarcasm about it - as ever - but there really is a very important "lesson to be learnt" as well - which I have no doubt that TB will be ramming down the throats of the dressing room and firing a severe warning. Basically two of our most experienced, seasoned professionals have erred and let the whole team down and potentially have cost us FOUR feckin points. This has to be sorted out and quickly as we simply do not have a squad to deal with suspensions. So get off yer high feckin rockin horse and smell the feckin coffee.1 point

Still can't stop smiling. Tynecastle is probably my favourite away venue and what our team did yesterday was amazing. This team has loads of guts and has the "togetherness" factor. Not a large support travelled but those that did supported their socks off and theplayers obviously appreciated it.The celebrations at the end reminded me of our 1st division season with terry leading from the pitch. The players worked so hard and got a deserved point which actually felt like a win. The ref had a 'mare day and actually lost control for periods. Both pens were not pens but I think ours was to even things up tbh. From our seats Forans challenge didn't look like a red but on seeing the tv footage then I think it was deserved. Unless I missed it I don't remember him being booked earlier as another poster mentioned? He seemed really fired up yesterday before the sending off. He had thrown the ball away twice and was absolutely screaming at the ref when hearts got their pen. No one could accuse him of not caring about our team IMO and actually it seemed he was too fired up having been out for the previous two games. He made a mistake so not a hanging offence for me. Quite happy with our progress so far. Bring on Celtic.1 point

Well, you are right about the number of jersey pulls in the penalty box. In the North Americam MLS this has become some kind of disease--I am referring to the pulling of opposing players' jerseys in the box. Personally I think it is stifling innovative play and take a dim view of it. Strangely the refs over here rarely seem to either see it or award a penalty for it if they do.1 point

I just don't get this Richie bashing. He made a mistake. It happens. As fans we expect, and demand, 100% commitment, as well as leadership on the park. We get bagloads of both from Foran. One foolish challenge, perhaps unlucky to be given a straight red from a ref whose competence is highly questionable, and he's getting as much stick on here as OTJ did for an act of mindless aggression.1 point

I think we need to give Oswell a run out to see what he can do no use sitting on the bench and playing him for 5 mins so come on Terry you signed give him a chance1 point
