  1. Munro and Tokely are playing superbly this season whilst rooney cant even make the starting eleven . Yeah, because Tokely and Munro are playing at C*unty through choice when they could really be earning 5 times as much, plying their trade and starting every week for Birmingham or Swindon!!!

  2. You're right Fraz, but with the whole Scottish Football setup so chronically disfunctional, then you can't criticise the first team manager for at least trying....as the saying goes "you can only piss with the c*ck your given" Like it or not, it doesn't matter a jot who you put in charge of Scotland at the moment, we don't have the players at present to be competing any more than we are....nor will we have them if things are allowed to continue as is. That's not Leveins fault and he is undertaking a thankless and impossible task....and he's a fool to himself if he believes any different. It's easy to look at a single game, or set of games and pick holes...but until everyone takes a step back and looks at the bigger issue and the wider problems then we'll lurch from one set of tournament qualifiers to the next with no improvement. Everywhere you turn in Scottish Football it's a mitigating disaster, and at every level. The only people to blame are the SFA, along with those who have the power to change that regime but fail to do so.

  3. Scotland will be going nowhere with that dud Levein in charge IMO.

  4. Sorry Luke but imo developing the yoof is a job for clubs / Scotland U21s not full international qualifying games.

  5. Why can't Levein accept that playing Tokely and Munro would have guaranteed us the win!!!

  8. What puzzles me is the fact folk on here are wanting rooney back but if you dare mention Munro or Tokely returning then hell mend you !!

  9. Not that many of them were penalties. When Rooney got his most regular run in the team (SFL1 season and 1st SPL season) he scored 48 goals in all competitions (League and Cup [excluding North of Scotland Cup and Friendlies] ) 13 of which were penalties or 27%. To be honest, I would want my regular goal scorer, high on confidence, to take penalties as there's more chance he would score. People level this idea that a lot of his goals were penalties like it's a bad thing. It's a shame people seem to almost belittle what Rooney did with us.

  11. DD are you seriously saying that you think our current strikers are as good as Rooney was? I would have him back without a second thought.
