  1. Having seen the penalty replay close up and in slow mo.....Foran was shoved by Daly and it should have been our foul. Que sera...and if I'm honest, an ICT win would have been harsh on Utd. Last year the players heads would have gone down and we'd likely have been on the wrong end of a 5 or 6 goal drubbing. Today tested the players character in that regard TO THE MAX and they passed with flying colours. Today showed me once and for all that this team is special and there's no "fluke" in us being where we are in the league and cups. Those staying away....for whatever reason....have no idea that history is being made and they are missing it.
  2. I do not believe that our team knows how to be complacent. They all want to win and to make certain of a win! Barring woefull decisions and accidents they will win. Hope we have enough in the coffers to keep these lads together, not just 'till the Summer but next season too. TogetherNess with a highland Capital as somebody else spelled it is the operative word. Board, Management, Staff and supporters ....TogetherNess.
  3. I have not seen a game like that in Spanish football in my life! I LOVE SCOTTISH PREMIER LEAGUE !!!!!!!!
  4. 1 point
We have a wonderful poacher in MacKay.

It was no yolk yesterday after 9 minutes. The boys looked shell shocked. Both Josh and Graeme felt like turkeys. Then Billy put three in the nest. For the first he did not duck. The second he kept down. The penalty gained after Ross swanned through a flood. The ICT supporters began to chirp. Gary rose like an eagle from his warren. He is no chicken. This was eggsiting stuff from the boys in blue. Butcher's flock don't know when they are Beaton, but Beaton they were not, despite the ref spotting a pen in the scramble. Daly had poached a point after ICT's early roasting.
  6. i dont want to be ostrosized but the league is tight and i hope we continue this and end up with a great season but it is to early to sayeurope with the league so close if it was more stretched then fine but i dont want to get to excited because i remember us 2 seasons ago lying in 4th some good 8 or 9pts ahead of 7th and we slumped to finish outside top 6 but this team is better and i do believe something will happen but what that will be we have to wait and see game by game people and it will become clearer
  7. Can somebody work out how many points we would we have if games finished on the 89th minute? We're doing unbelievably well to get into winning positions. Sadly once we have our noses in front the whole side get nervous and start hoofing balls all over the place, which does nothing but invite pressure. Our greatest assets are all up top, at all times we should be keeping Shinnie, Doran etc as far up the park as possible. Not only does it force the losing team to keep the 'big men' back but it gives us an outlet for clearances. This all hands to the pump bollocks is ruining what should be our best ever season. Looking at the league table its mind blowing the number of times we've all felt deflated after a match, its not as if we're losing 5-0 every week. Infact the couple of times we have been hammered the mood tends to be reasonably upbeat. So pats on the back for everyone for getting a job almost half done, 18 games in now, how about we learn a lesson from the late goals that have kept us off the top of the league for the last 18 matches for the new year? Everybody reading this should consider that this is our best chance to win the SPL in all of our lifetimes, this weak a league won't come around again. NO PRESSURE
  8. Now thats what you call true grit ,what a game ,what a team .
  9. Down your way, what about Charles McHardy butcher in Stonehaven? Make their own pork pies. They look quite small so you buy two then realise your mistake! Not tried McHardy's pork pies but I am very partial to a pork pie not mass produced in a factory so I will certainly make it my business to do so.
  10. I doubt there are 50,000 Invernessians in Inverness. I know two from Dundee. I know a couple from Nairn. Some from Dingwall. There are also Weegies and other central belters. And of course Polish, Romanian, Chinese, Indian, Pakistani's and a miriade of other nationalities. 100-200 is a reasonable turnout away from home ten days before christmas, considering the cost of an awayday. That said I only caught the last few minutes of BBC live text cos of having to do some work. Said there that the pen was for a handball and Foran booked for dissent. Where did the five mins of added time come from? Three down after 8 minutes and yet we still take the lead against one of the better teams in the league. I think that says a helluva lot for the grit and determination of this squad. No heads going down. Just dust ourselves down, get on with the job and get a result. I'll wager that every player on our team today is gutted by the final result, more especially Richie, but I say to each and every one of them, Keep doing what you are doing and the results will fall into place. Another 4 goals for and a hat-trick for Billy (now top of SPL score list I think) has to say lots for the character of this team and, regardless of having lost 4 goals, the belief and commitment of the manager and his assistants. Well done on a very good result away from home lads.
  11. Well I would have taken a point this morning - lets feckin face it - 3 down after 9 minutes and we are still pishhed off with a draw !! Changed feckin days - Happy feckin days.
  12. Have to say.......that was NEVER a penalty...if anything...a free kick to us!
  13. wtf ref ? that was never a penalty.
  14. I love P&B, always puts a smile on my face.
