  1. Probably because it was scored in April...!!!

  2. It doesn't necessarily 'need' to be Aberdeen vs Rangers but it gives us more of an advantage if we finish 4th. Aslong as Aberdeen win the cup and we finish 4th it will be plain sailing because I can sense a lot of debate if a Rangers win and we get the European place.

  4. If shinnie had been sent off then we all know we play better with nine men. 4-0.

  5. Having read a couple of reports on this I get the impression a couple of beat cops saw a fracas and moved in. Everyone ran and Richie tried to hide but was caught and subsequently charged with breach of the peace. Looks like that and cctv were the only evidence and no further investigating was carried out to trace the others involved. It seems there were no assault charges laid at anyone. Just breaking the peace. Cops added perverting the course of justice to make a case of it but that was thrown out. Probably none of it should have ever reached the courts. Thats my take on it anyway.

  6. If tremarco was sent off he wouldn't have been in the box to deflect the ball into the net. 3-0

  7. If all decisions had been given then their goal would have been chalked off for high feet and we would have had a penalty of our own at the other end..... ....by my calculations (assuming penalties were scored) that would have given us a 3-1 victory instead of just 2-1.

  8. Mystified that the victim of an assault gets charged for defending himself . Fair play to Richie though and I personally hope he leathered the racist .

  9. I very much doubt he was punched twice in the face before defending himself , if that was the case don't you think the aggressor would have been charged and not Richie ? You must have missed the bit in the report that said CCTV footage backed up what he said.

  10. Amazed that some people think that just because you pull on a football shirt you are immune to any sort of human reactions. If somebody punched me twice in the face I would retaliate if nothing more to make sure they don't land a 3rd blow.

  11. Yeh looks as if some local neds of unspesified football loyalty themselves have decided to have a go at a couple of well known lads from the Republic of Ireland. I think Ritchie has been very restreined in this incident which would never have happened had it not been for these neds hellbent on provoking and asaulting Ritchie. Its the neds who should have been arested not Ritchie.

  12. According to the JP: "I am of the view that you were intimidated and hit back." whilst according to defence (and not disputed by the sound of it): "He was punched twice in the face and he reacted to that. CCTV pictures clearly show his head recoiling back from one blow." Reading the whole story as reported (on more than one website) it sounds like there was a bit of hassle, with some neds winding Foran and Doran up after a night out because they were Irish and/or ICT players. Foran tried to walk away initially but these guys persisted and - as apparently shown on CCTV - struck the first few blows. We all know Richie is no shrinking violet so he appears to have done what many of us would do, especially after a few beers, and hit back (defended himself). the only stupid part seems to be the hiding under the car and that seems to have been dealt with by way of a plea agreement ... plead guilty to the fight and the crown will accept not guilty to the rest. As for him setting a bad example? I have no problem with him turning the other cheek and trying to walk away from trouble, and by the same token, when trouble is inevitable, I have no problem with him defending himself ..... shouldn't have gone looking for that pound coin he dropped just as the cops were about to arrest him though.

  13. Feck Brora Sevco. They bought the league What i love about the Highland League is teams like Inverurie and Clach who nurture their own youth through the ranks and bring them together at 1st team level. Grass roots! Thats what non-league footy is all about!! AMF

  14. Reading this thread reminds of the old saying 'Fools criticise a job half done' Now it is my opinion that it was not just County that strengthened their team since the start of the season and if so called pundits on here cannot see that the opposition is playing better now than they did at the start of the season, then they are indeed fools. We did start well.... against weakened sides .... however these teams have all knitted now, especially Aberdeen, Dee Utd, and Ross County.. just to name three! Maybe now this topic can be binned as even BT were on about the fans not happy with the manager and I feel this is unfair on the manager, players and the more knowledgeable Board but most of all on the majority of fans of ICT who have more wit than come on here and spout utter nonsense, when a playing plan is unfolding. You lot resemble youngsters going on a journey and start shouting "are we there yet" before the car is out of the drive! Give it a rest .... you did not get your choice of manager ... get over it!

Administration pending, unless... How can we go from SupercaleygoballisticCelticareatrocious in the year 2000, to Scottish Cup Winners in 2015, playing in Europe and just 9 years after lifting the Cup; Administration. Mismanagement and our demise was hastened by the appointment of Scot Gardiner. Ever since then, ludicrous decision making has seen our stock plummet whilst 'shady' dealings were investigated. The failed Concert Company, the Battery Storage, the Statkraft contract have all ended badly leaving the club facing insolvency.

That's another fine mess you've got us into.

      Chairman Ross Morrison resigns

Nothing official from the club as we speak, but the Inverness Courier are running with a story that Ross Morrison has resigned at 18:00 tonight 3rd June.  More to come as this story develops, but most fans are looking for more heads to roll.

Speaking exclusively to The Inverness Courier, Mr Morrison said he is leaving now because of the aftermath of the Fife move. “I believe it [the move to Fife] is the best way forward and I have to stick with my beliefs,” Mr Morrison said. “This is the reason I'm stepping down now.”

Reflecting on his time with the Caley Thistle, Mr Morrison said: “My six-year tenure with the club has had some great and some not so great times but through everything I was immensely proud to be the chairman of the club and clubs I’ve supported for 50 years - I was a Jaggie by the way.

“I would ask the fans to rally round the club at this time and show their support by not only purchasing their season tickets but also getting involved directly with the club to see how they can help.

“Hearing fans saying they would prefer administration to training the first team in Kelty sent a shiver down my spine. Administration is a desperate thing to happen to a club and must, at all cost, not happen to ICTFC.”
