  1. And by the same token, its the same people that defend the club no matter what.

  2. Away fans usually get allocated part of the Gil Merrick Lower, sometimes all of it depending on allocation sold. I don't think blues are expecting much of a turnout as only the Kop end is being opening for home fans, which isn't unusual for friendlies and early cup games at St Andrews. The Wellington seems to be popular with away supporters as it has over 15 real ales on top, also the cricketers arms isn't far from the ground and is also away friendly. I personally as a Birmingham City supporter am a little disappointed that this match isn't away and so will probably make my mind up Saturday morning whether I bother going, anyway I hope all you lads that make the journey have a fun day and the sun carries on shining. 4. Nonsence! So are we saying that 18 stone rugby players would improve if they lost weight? Ridiculous comparison .

  5. The first bus of the season will depart for Hamilton at 08:45 from The Caley Club in Grieg Street and 09:00 from Tulloch caledonian Stadium. Pick up in Aviemore and a stop at Broxden. Price is still an amazingly good value £15 per person so phone John on 07951309504 to book your self on the bus. Please do it soon, so that we can get a good idea of numbers. Remember that we can only keep running buses if you keep using them. Thanks for your continuing and brilliant support.

  6. Our SPFL Prediction League has now been configured for the 2014-15 season. Well done to Doofer's Dad for winning last year ..... The month of August is now open for predictions (5 games). http://caleythistleonline.com/page/predictionleague.html To take part in this you need to register. Your registration for the forum does not log you in automatically as its a separate system. If you are one of the users who finished last season (will attach a graphic with the standings) then you are already registered but will need to join the 2014 league in your profile. If you are a newbie or returning player you will need to re-register. its a pretty straightforward process though. How it works We (myself or Gringo) will add the SPFL fixtures prior to matches (usually a few weeks prior) and you simply choose the final score. Predictions need to be in before kick-off time as the system automatically closes things at that time. Points are awarded as follows: 5 Points for predicting the correct number of goals by at least one team. 5 Points for predicting the correct number of goals for the home team. 5 Points for predicting the correct number of goals for the away team. 25 Points for a correct score. i.e. you predict 3-1 and the result is 3-1. 10 Point for a correct result. You predict 1-1, the score is 2-2. 0 Points for a incorrect result. i.e. you predict 3-1 and the result is 1-3. +10 bonus points for the user with the highest weekly total +10 bonus points for the user with the highest monthly total +variable bonus points for selected games throughout season where you predict correct score (10 bonus points for each game in August, +25 for each ICT game) The winner is the person with the most points at the end of the season. simple really. Postponed / TV Games When games are re-arranged due to weather or other postponements we will try to make sure we enter the new date when announced so it remains open for prediction. For TV games, we will normally have the dates/times correct as we only enter data a few weeks in advance (after TV schedules are announced). The "My Predictions" or "My Missing Predictions" links are your friend in making sure you dont miss these when predicting. Prize ? Bragging rights ... its just for fun ! Any other questions ? ask in the topic below ...... 2013/14 Final Standings

  11. I recall another winger Barry Rosbon, who smoked, who liked a good drink and was actually pretty funny with the shot in, it didn't mix too well with football though and he went on loan to Forfar for a season, Untited bought him off of us on the cheap and eventually sold him for a 7 figure sum to Celtic.

  13. I would like to take the time to say how impressed how fast the ICT shop/office delivered my top. I ordered late yesterday afternoon and it was in Glasgow today. Good work. I expected it to arrive tomorrow at the earliest. Now on to the shirt itself. At first view from the pictures I was a hater. I planned to give the money to the club and add it to the 'others' Now I have it in my hands I think its a touch of class. Its' different in a good way.

  15. Total agreement. Its not weight that matters its fitness. If the guy can put in a good shift and carry on doing what he's good at then so be it.

  16. If another striker not coming in is to be the case I would be more than happy that Ferguson is there for backup. He may not have much experience in the first team but he is a confident player and I feel, just like Polworth and Christie, he would handle the pressure very well. The level of international football he is currently playing does not concern me. He is finding form at the moment and that's what really matters.

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.
