We've released a music video for the song. Selection of our favourite moments as ICT fans from time gone by. Hope you enjoy it.

a few folk have walked past my desk in the last little while wondering why i have my headphones on, tapping my feet and shaking my head in time to music, and wearing a s***-eating grin on my face Cheers AJS !!! In 21 years of doing this I think I have to say that so far this been one of the most enjoyable weeks on this website. We have little to no negativity, we have fans showing their pride, passion, and love for our team, as well as their own skills in making the rest of us smile and appreciate our club even more ... and even the opposition fans who have come along seem to be pleasant and articulate. I know normal service will be resumed at some point but for now ... long may it continue
  3. Right O.K. I have been to World Cups, Euro's and play offs with Scotland, I have been to FA Cup finals at Wembley, I have watched Leeds Utd win the League and have followed them in Europe. But for some reason this game has created more in my 51 y.o mind than any other I have ever been too. I moved back to the Highlands in '94 so picking somewhere to watch my football was easy, new start for both a club and me and because of being there at the beginning this game and club means so much more. Roll on Friday for travelling down and on Saturday, if anyone sees a grown man shaking uncontrollably it the corner of the Beechwood, say hello as it will be me.
  4. This will be our biggest ever support, but still, it is evident that the vast majority of Invernessians are not attending this wonderful and historic event. Seriously, what the **** is wrong with them?!
  5. I think it probably has to be accepted that the majority of Invernessians, in common with the majority of the public at large, are not remotely interested in football in any shape or form. To many, the Scottish Cup Final will be of no more interest than the Buckingham Palace Court Circular and of significantly less interest than who are competing in the next series of Strictly. I sometimes wonder if the football fraternity tends to get stuck in its own wee bubble on occasions and forgets that there is a whole big world out there with fundamentally different priorities and interests. That is true but for occasions such as the cup final clubs from provincial towns typically manage to sufficiently engage with their community to be able to take a third or more of the population. Recent examples are St Mirren, Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and, this season our own opponents the Bairns of Falkirk. It looks like we will be taking fewer than a fifth of the population of 'Greater Inverness' so there is scope to do better to come up to par. However, on the upside, this will be far and away the biggest following we have ever had and getting on for twice as many as we look to the League Cup final last season. The report card reads; Solid work with encouraging progress. Room for improvement.

Its No 1 - Its Top of the Pops
  9. What more do we need to say !! Well done to 'RedCard' for coming up with the idea and to those involved in putting the video together. Brought a tear to me eye ..... Personally I am gutted I cannot make it on Saturday but I will be with everyone all the way and through every single kick of the ball. Its not live on TV here but I have leveraged my IT knowledge and a few favours so I can watch it on my own big screen, or perhaps with a group of friends at a bar with even more humongous screens (if it works out). Wherever you are travelling from I wish you a safe journey there and back and hopefully we are all still smiling come 4:45 pm ! This week is going to fly by .......
  10. Just wondering what everyone is planning on wearing to the Cup Final. The reason I ask is, well, you know how embarrassing it can be - you turn up for an event and somebody else is wearing the same outfit. I'm planning on wearing jeans and an ICT top, accompanied by an ICT scarf. So if everyone else could avoid copying, that would be great, thanks.
  11. One further consideration is that while the marginally interested might make the effort to travel 10 - 60 miles from Paisley, Kilmarnock, Falkirk or Perth, the 175 miles from Inverness will probably be a disproportionately deterring factor. Indeed, the drive for someone from Falkirk is about the same as someone from Inverness going to Aviemore.

All very well fighting the Furys but is he man enough to have a square go with Davey Arthur ?.....
  14. Went into the club shop today ( not the market one ) and have to say they have hardly any stock left of shirts of any kind. Looks like the club have hit the jackpot with merchandise sales. Well done.
  15. Jason Brown has signed a new contrat. He said it on his Twitter yesterday : Delighted to extend my contract at @ICTFC looking forward to next season already and of course the big one this weekend #ICTFC.
  16. An essential read about the Falkirk squad. http://terracepodcast.net/scottish-lower-leagues/2015/5/26/season-201415-player-ratings-falkirk
  17. As many folk on here know, I'm involved with Whitehill Welfare in the Lowland League, which is level 5 as is the Highland League. We only get 2 comps and if we want more we need to pay for them. It's hard enough getting somebody to take the comps unless it's say Hearts v Hibs or the Old Filth.
  18. Love it! Btw ... Just wondering ... did you used to appear in a paisley patterned dressing gown on a programme with a football slant presented by Frank Skinner and David Baldiel?
  19. I can't see why on Earth it would be too late to open up an empty section. The SFA are not known for common sense but that would take the biscuit.
  20. I fear this website is about to crash due to the sheer volume of County fans rushing to wish their neighbours and fellow Highlanders well in the final.
  21. Thanks for that I'll pop over and say hello now that I'll be able to spot you.
  22. Stolen from young Mr Grant - but who was the last team to be beaten 5-0 by Cellic on the last league game of the season but went on to win the Scottish Cup the next weekend ?

Written and recorded by yours truly and my band Tale of two cities. This song is the result of a bet I lost after we beat Celtic. I promised I would deliver a cup final song if we made it to the final. Released an acoustic demo and it received such acclaim that I felt it was only right to put together a finished version. It may not be everyones cup of tea, but I wrote it myself. Very easy to write about something you either know a lot about or care a lot about and in my case it fits both those categories. All of my band are ICT fans and the song was also produced by ICT fans too...basically its for the fans.
  24. I had another of my "playing for ICT" dreams last night. This time it was the cup final. An area of the Hampden pitch was cordoned off to let the grass grow and they forgot to remove the cordon before kick-off, so the ref asked the players to keep the ball away from that area as she didn't know what to do if the ball went in. We made a great start, and a Devine header crashed off the bar back onto his head for him to nod in, 1-0. Then a superb break from David Bingham (!) resulted in a shot and save, the ball rolled to me for an easy tap in and my place in history, but Barry Wilson nipped in front of me to slam it home and take the glory. 2-0 after 22 minutes, and then I woke up.
