  1. That's gutting to hear she was made redundant. I reckon we should get a rid of Dani Lopez and re-sign Laura on a 3 year deal

  2. I don't know any of the facts so this post is entirely uninformed but, on the face of it, to part company with an employee as hard working, dedicated and universally popular with fans seems to me to be rather short sighted and counter productive.

  3. She was made redundant. This club was built on loyal hard working supporters such as Laura and she will be greatly missed.

  4. Just want to say a massive thanks to L_G who worked in our club shop. She was always great to speak with both in person and over the phone. She always went out of her way to help. I remember one evening she posted tickets for us on her way home from work - above and beyond the call of duty. L_G leaving is a big loss for our club. She was great with visitors, fans and tourists in the shop. To me, she was the main point of contact - the 'face' of our club - as it were. Thank you for all of your help over the years L_G. All the best for now and the future.

  5. No that's not him. Been told to keep his name under wraps until we see more of him. Other clubs interested in him

  6. Is that him? I see Febian Brandy is an ex-Man United free agent and we were offered him once before. In all honesty, he bares a strong resemblance to the striker I saw playing for us at Grant Street the other week against Killie.

  7. As a childhood friend of his he's the one who got us into the final by scoring the equaliser goal against hearts before the penalties. He a great young player yea he may get pushed over the ball many times but he always gets back up and makes good passes and great game play.

  8. I think with Draper it was a question of getting him through to half time and then seeing how he was. Wasn't a bad idea against a side that had created next to nothing against us up to that point and we have been shown to be vulnerable when Drapes isn't there. Williams also felt the effects of that collision with Draper, so no real choice with that sub either. Raven by all accounts was feeling a knock so all of the substitutions were enforced. I'm also not sure that our players wanted to chase that game 100% on a surface that most of them don't like and on a week where I'm sure that most of them would have welcomed the managerial speculation like toothache. I also think that the surface limited the amount of potential returnees that would be risked - especially from any kind of ligament strain etc. where there is a belief that the plastic pitch would just make it worse. Seeing what happened to Dundee's unpronounceable Basque defender at Hamilton kind of reinforces that. Maybe it is one to just consign to the bin - bad day, bad pitch, bad luck and a defeat after a few good results.

  9. Agree with the Tremarco hook and start embedding Williams at left back. I would personally start Vigurs instead of Tansey but doubt that Yogi ever will. I will be surprised however if Draper starts after seeing how he finished at Killie - so I expect it to be Wedderburn and Tansey starting. Polworth is not a wide player and that is what we are really missing. Motombo is also not the answer. Again I don't think that it would happen but I would give Sutherland a chance. Rigs X1 will probably be Yogi's chance but it will all depend on the pitch, the weather, the wind direction and force !!

    • Kelty Hearts Training Statement
What a farce we have become, a laughing stock: Did you hear the one about the footbal team from the Highlands of Scotland that want to train at Cowdenbeath? Unfortunately, unlike our board, this is not a joke. Our board are trying to rip our identity from the Highlands and replace it with shared training at Kelty Hearts. I kid you not, this is not a drill and the clowns that run our club appear to be delighted at this coup.

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.
