  8. Whilst I kinda agree with you, it's not always a straight forward decision. The situation with Hearts at the moment is that they are selling out just about every game and as a result they are giving visiting clubs minimum allocation (understandable if you can sell more to your own fans). If they simply put those tickets on sale on a match day then you run the risk of people travelling and then not being able to get a ticket....which leads to unhappy people outside stadiums (understandably having gone to the hassle/cost of travelling) and possibly some who would be intent on causing trouble. Historically we take a lot of fans to this fixture (500/600+), especially when it falls at this time of year and the allocation wasn't much greater than that. There's also a risk that with the home end selling out, if they just do pay on the day then you end up with the away end being full of home fans desperate to see their team....again, generating risks of unrest. It's a nuisance for those who like to decide on a whim, or may not know if they can attend until nearer the time...it's an even bigger nuisance when games get called off...but not much alternative under the circumstances.

  9. Wed 02 Dec 2015 In my previous post I missed the fact that Eddie Ofere scored two goals for his club, Boluspor in Turkey, (his first of the season, I think), in a 4-1Cup win. Sat 05 Dec 2015 Scot Premier A Rooney (Dundee 0 - Aberdeen 2) B Mckay (Kilmarnock 1 - Dundee Utd 1) Scot Cup D Park (Cove R 4 - Formantine 1) Highland League D Wyness (Buckie 2 - Fraserburgh 2) L MacKinnon (Buckie 2 - Fraserburgh 2) D Gillespie (Keith 2 - Brora R 6) G Morrison (Keith 2 - Brora R 6) Danske Bank Premier C Allen (Ballinamallard 2 - Glentoran 4)

  10. He didn't actually come out and say the things he said. He was asked the question, a question I didn't think the press needed to ask, during his press conference on new deal and he answered in his usual honest way. I'm quite sure he would have made his thoughts known to Kenny long before this week. As indicated in previous post its last weeks news and now its time to move on and push on.

  11. Given that appearance in a calendar is a sure-fire indicator of a player's departure, maybe this means the entire squad will be re-signing (as opposed to resigning) for next season and beyond!

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.

    • Inverness CT (1-2) Hamilton - Play off Final 2nd Leg - Preview
The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.
