  1. I suggest that reasons are required for allocating red dots or abolish them altogether and let the anonymous cowards post their derision.

Once again what a huge missed opportunity to sell many more shirts than could have been purchased if they had been available at the end of June. Wearing your team's latest strip when on foreign shores on summer holidays used to be a given but now with Cabrini and us it's become a rarity. Not being able to get hold of a replica top before the season starts will potentialy result in reduced sales.
  3. And I rubbed out your one buchtmaster

personally I would hope that 'reviewing our position' in terms of the shirt deal means we tell them to GTF and find or solicit tenders from a shirt company who will deliver a decent kit, on time with the minimum of fuss. Probably a non-starter, but I wonder if there is opportunity here for an SPL-wide deal? MLS does this by having a master agreement with Adidas and I have never seen or heard of any issues. The league does the deal, the clubs do the design (with Adidas) and both sell the kits online and in stores. The kits are fine, always of good quality, the launch dates are always well in advance of the season, and as far as I can tell ... launches occur 'as promised'. Works well in MLS due to the centralised nature of the league administration and setup and probably a non-starter in Scotland due to various factors, but after many years of Errea delivering late and now this mob actually making Errea look good perhaps this kind of approach, or maybe a group of smaller clubs going together as a group to negiotate better terms and such might be a feasible approach.
  8. This is my first post on the site so please be gentle with me. However, I have been an avid follower of the site for a couple of years. I think that the transfer window has all the appearances of being successful in that we are signing players that have a higher pedigree than we were a couple of years ago. Another positive is that we haven't lost players, perhaps the Aberdeen scouts have mislaid their Aberdeen/Inverness bus timetable. I have managed to see a few of the early season games and was impressed with King, Mulraney and McNaughton. It is a great pity that McNaughton looks like he is out for some time as I think that his experience would have benefited many of the younger players. Some of my friends are Jambos and they are raging that King hasn't been retained and from all accounts he has been telling friends how much he is enjoying it in Inverness. I am sure that this down to getting game time and the spirit in the dressing room. My main point is that Larnell Cole could be a massive success. He was very highly thought of at Man Utd and only left because Rene Meulensteen persuaded him to go to Fulham when he became manager there. As we all know Meulensteen didn't last long there and when Felix Magath took over he ditched him as soon as he could. Another of my friends is Man Utd daft and when I told him about Cole signing for us he couldn't believe how lucky we were as he has pace and skill. I think that his career has probably gone off the rails following his move to Fulham and meeting Mr Magath but this is probably the right place for him to get it back on track. We have had a poor start to the season but I think that if we stay injury and suspension free we can creep up the table into the top half of the league.
  9. I can see Richie (no t) will be the new Mckay (small k).
