  1. Valid with regard to Polly but harsh on Warren. There is not much he or anyone can do about the ageing process.
  2. As we enter the dying embers of 2017, who would you rate as our most improved player of the year ? In my view, it has to be Mark Ridgers. I confess that when Robbo signed him I thought it was a terrible move and the first few months seemed to confirm that. His form was terrible, his confidence was shot and it was abundantly clear that the defence had no confidence in him. We were haemorrhaging goals and Mark was directly at fault for many. I was surely not alone in wondering why we were paying OFW a relative fortune and not playing him. Mark was dropped, rightly so and not before time. However, when he got his turn again he seemed a transformed player grapping the opportunity, both literally and metaphorically, with both hands. He is now a safe, competent and, above all, confident 'keeper who has made game winning or game saving saves time and time again. It's clear that the defence have much more confidence in him and that has given them the freedom to play much better. I still wonder why we are paying OFW so much for no return but I no longer wonder why we are not playing him. So, well done Mark Ridgers, my choice as our most improved player of the year. Congratulations and keep up the good work for 2018.
  3. Whilst I have no time for either club he has been at since he left, sorry to hear that Jonny Hayes broke his leg in Celtic's game against Dundee in a challenge with Josh Meekings. Hopefully he makes a full recovery.

Reminds me of the postman who used to do our street.

I would continue with Baird over Oakley until we make further signings. While Baird is clearly not a goal threat, he puts in a power of work and links well with the midfield. Oakley is also hard working, and has more physical presence, but he offers almost nothing in terms of link play. Whether he's competing in the air or receiving the ball to feet, it's a complete lottery as to whether we will retain possession. Very poor management from Robbo to leave us with such poor options up front for the first half of the season.

I love Dave the Rave but if I was robbo there is no way I would drop Seedorf to let Him play. It would do nothing for Seedorfs confidence to drop him for someone playing their last game for us. At th moment Seedorf has the shirt. Depending on the circumstances I would bring him on as a sub to say his goodbyes he certainly deserves rapturous applause before he leaves
  7. Gives Celtic fans another reason to hate Meekings. Maybe he’ll sign for Rangers and complete the hattrick!

Quite so. Right in the centre of the town.
  9. Most unimproved player - Polworth Most deteriorated - Warren
