  1. The transparency promised last year seems to just be more soundbites when something controversial or negative is raised.
  2. Wholly agree. It's more what that statement doesn't say rather than what it does.
  3. Sounds like worrying times to me despite the Chairman today trying to calm the rumours?
  4. I should like to add my thanks to the club the Chairman and the staff of club for the efforts and skill in keeping the club active and to some degree solvent In what is without doubt difficult times. The past is the past and there is no good to come from dwelling over actions taken last season , it is over with. The future is what it is all about in sport, or more to the point the here and now. I know we all apreciate the fact that without good professional people at the helm the club would never get bak to its former status. Thanks again to the Chairman for taking time out to speak to the supporters.
  5. ICTFC Chairman, Graham Rae, has issued the following message for supporters.... http://ictfc.com/news/club-news/2128-message-for-supporters-14-february-2018
  6. We are the Jags. They are merely Patrick.
  7. So what happened to the enormous sum of money that was supposed to be coming to ICT along with other Football clubs here in Scotland that was rumoured to being allocated to substantially paying off the outstanding debt?
  8. Hopefully, they had the foresight to lay that down twenty four years ago.
  9. There's been no football, but there has been stuff that could be communicated/reported on. The club have been desperately calling around and holding crisis meetings about the finances. Apparently we need a sizeable six figure injection to see us to the end of the season. The players moved out to Fort George full time on a two week trial. That could have made an interesting feature. Our chairman made a big thing about improving communication, but after the early flurry of promises (few, if any, of which have been delivered) all we've had is posturing.
  10. Was it really? I would argue that Caley had been in decline since about 1988 when they won their final HL title at the last gasp. All they produced after that was the Qualifying Cup in 1991 and the North Cup under Baltacha in their final weeks in 1994. Meanwhile, Elgin City and Huntly under Pele and Ross County under Bobby Wilson played more dominant roles. In fact, I would also suggest that Caley's decline and lack of success in these years was a significant factor in the club agreeing to merge with Thistle (which had also been in decline over the same period.) Had Caley continued to pile in the honours after 1988, I think there would have been a stronger desire in 1993 to go it alone.
  11. aye, here's hoping we are not being subjected to yet another load of noise without substance. if we have already had the payment it has probably disapeared into the big black hole
  12. Been hearing the rumours that we won't make it to the end of the season without going into administration.
