  1. weather looks lovely. Maybe time to break out the BBQ? And i was not born in Scotland. Born and raised in Northern Ireland. I have Scottish heritage but none coming from inverness. Just happened to come across this wonderful club and traveled to watch them play in turn falling in love with the wonderful place that is inverness
  2. Belfast Brigade, I admire your spunk and dedication to the cause. Lang may yer lum reek, laddie. You are an inspiration to all the others who are either lukewarm or flatter to deceive in terms of their affiliation or affection for our wonderful team. I take it you were born in Scotland though were you not? https://www.pinterest.ca/HelloBC/winter-in-bc/i Kind regards from a currently beautiful sunny day in British Columbia, Canada.
  3. Well, I suppose that with a third of our league season still ahead of us, anything could happen. My first priority would be to secure 8th spot, hoping that injuries are kept to a minimum over the next few weeks, and demanding that discipline is good throughout that period - we can't afford suspensions. Then we can see what shape we are in - on and off the park - and start thinking about next season. Winning the Challenge Cup would surely instil some confidence and bring the team closer together, too.
  4. Trust me when i say no one has ever labeled me a glory hunter for supporting ICT. Even at the scottish cup final most ask the story of how i became a supporter and find it rather interesting. But unfortunately this glory hunter is missing the irn bru cup final due to work but i booked myself flight over for our last home game in April against Dunfermline looking like a nothing game at this point.. . . . . Canne wait!
  5. With global warming increasing rapidly there is little chance of this new and dangerous weather situation changing for the better. It's apparently about to get much worse. That's really ominous. Translating this into the reality of Scottish football it is imperative, IMHO, that the Scottish football authorities immediately set up plans for next season to try out Summer football. If not, they will be held accountable.
  6. aye and like the council I haven't an effin clue how to find answers to any of them. you have too much time on your hands Charles
  7. Oh My, Jock Mackay! Charlie what is an oxymoron? Sorry but I don't have my Oxford English Dictionary with me today. Is that an ox with big horns being ridden by a somewhat doltish figure.?Better not wear your Viking cap to the next meeting old chap lest you create a wrong impression to the influential high heid yins and the lesser lights like Pimples, Pinochio and Paupers. As to the figures , without any Club, or even Scottish, documents readily to hand here in the Canadian wilderness what I was referring to (as you well know) was the large loss for last year being in excess of what the European cash injected into the club a few months ago turned out to be . There was a shortfall by comparison of some 50,000 pounds wasn't there?. My question was simple; where did that windfall money go to exactly. But, as always, you had to nit-pick it to death. Please have a look at how Caley D sets out his thoughts. Always concise, non- critical of others, and generally very factual and balanced. And he doesn't wear Viking hat so maybe the Lord hath blessed his cranium.. Cheers Charlie. Off you go, back to chat and chirping.
  8. We can't blame the pitch or the referees, guys. We are bang average and the reasons are various: small core support, poor club management over past 2.5 years, poor recruitment, poor discipline, hangovers from previous regimes etc. My concern is not this season, but whether we can sustain another year as a full-time club. That is where we are at - either next season or the next, we have to accept the real possibility of having to go part-time. That is the magnitude of the failings over the last 2 seasons.
