  1. He could've scored all 59 goals and it still would'nt be enough for some of the Aholes who shout abuse every week. It's only when he goes, and he will, that his contribution that so many are blind to, will be recognised.
  2. On or off? Search me! Where is it recorded? See CaleyD's post around 11am today. He quotes an email from the board stating that it is "impossible" to hold the meeting within the 28 days. April 18 is 26 clear days on from the original requisition, but only 13 after the day of notice. Farce? That's what I've been trying to say at least since the existence of an anonymous board was posted here on Feb 27 - but this reality check is dismissed by some as unduly harsh on the board members! And in that last connection, I should perhaps add that if their backsides hadn't been held to the fire from the start..... we still wouldn't even know who they are!!
  3. Polworth now has 21 assists in all competitions this season. He's also scored four goals. We've scored 59 goals in all competitions, meaning that he has had a direct hand in 42% of our goals. That's not taking into account other goals that he's had a hand in, such as the goal of the season against Dundee Utd at Tannadice. I haven't gone through and confirmed it but he's probably had a hand in half our goals.
  4. I agree although, it has to be said, that advice and assistance appears to have been offered from a number of sources but those offers have, as far as I'm aware, all been scorned.
  5. I have no problem with any post that concerns the topic. It's the added insults at the end that are repetitive and not helping anyone.
  6. I actually quite like hearing from Charles in this thread. I never had any interest in CJT before but this fiasco has got me on the edge of my chair. Why doesn't the current board just hold a meeting now within the correct amount of time? They've failed in their bid to meet the request of a meeting, which was a bit of a shambles in the first place but if they organise one now surely we could get this all sorted. I'd personally like it to be aired on caley jags TV as well please as this is better than some of our highlights of this season.
  7. Will there / won't there be a meeting? Who cares. No match thread for the Falkirk match? This is a massive match for us. I'm feeling confident about it. Surprised we're still in with a chance of a play-off place but pleased all the same. How will we line up?
  8. So is the meeting on or off ? Where is it recorded that the Board are attempting to cancel the meeting ? This is becoming a total farce.
  9. Who is our present Supporters Liaison Officer ? It also appears to me that confidentiality is demanded by the Supporters Direct organisation. I am reliably informed that the present CJT echelon are basically debarred from making comments on this forum which is evidently being preyed on by the predators. I would be very interested to hear the views on this debate from the Supporters Direct organisation. I am saddened that individuals on both sides of the divide, except Bannerman of course, who have given large amounts of their time to this organisation are squabbling and practically at war with each other's. I sense that the motivation to challenge and change is as much about internalised anger and resentment, actually understandable in some instances, towards people at the club who are attempting to change the face of ICTFC. Unfortunately I sense a fight to the death, dog with a bone feeling and unfortunately this argument will probably fester for some time. Instead of a best of three scoring system this is akin to a three set badminton match and we are still in the early throes of the first set. It is clear to see who is standing on one side of the court but posters probably have no idea who the opposition are ?
  10. An email was received, from CJT, by those who requested the SGM stating that the request was "quite complex to administer within our current rules" and, as such "This is making the request for a meeting within 28 days from the date of the letter impossible to achieve." This appears to be based on advice from Supporters Direct (umbrella organisation), but it would seem that advice has been provided without a full understanding of the situation. Whilst it would be easy to assume, it's not entirely clear from that whether or not the meeting listed in the OP has been cancelled and confirmation of that has been requested. There was also a request from CJT for a meeting with representatives of those who put their names to the SGM request. This has been welcomed on the basis that it also include a representative from Supporters Direct (to advise, mediate & bare witness) and without prejudice to the members rights to now call the already requested SGM themselves should they deem it necessary. A response is also awaited on that matter.
  11. Queens fans on the way out asking if they could have big Coll
  12. I don't know if you're a member of CJT or not, Blair, but you would need to make sure that you had become one before you turned up because this meeting should be restricted to members of the Company. In terms of admission, I'd be interested to see exactly what procedures are in place to ensure that everyone that's admitted is a bona fide Company member. I also wonder if Caley D's queries about provision for proxies have been addressed?
  13. I think if we win all our games, then we are guaranteed a play-off spot? Just do that and we don't have to worry about other team's results. Simples!
  14. Pretty straightforward win for us yesterday. Well taken goals by Austin and Oakley (another Polworth assist - GIUY haters) really killed the game off by the half time. A couple of Dobbie efforts in the second half were about as close as QotS came to getting a goal. We still had good chances from Doran and Mackay to extend our lead. Small but vocal away support. It was a slog getting there from Edinburgh so fair play to those coming down from Inverness.
  15. If we win all our remaining games, we will have 59 points. Dunfermline can then only get to 58, Morton to 56 and QoS to 52 (as we have to beat both Dunfermline & Morton to win all our games) and we would finish at least 4th, irrespective of what Dundee Utd do. So it’s entirely in our own hands - not that it will be easy.
  16. It wasn't so much our awful start that was the frustration. That was entirely predicaible after the chaos of the close season. What really killed off our hopes of an immediate return to the Premiership was our dip in form in December and January after our encouraging run of games without defeat in October and November. That was very disappointing indeed and much of the blame for that must be laid at the feet of the manager with a number of players suddenly seeming disinterested and a truly shocking spell of indiscipline where we seldom seem to finish with eleven men. It is very encouraging to see that we have turned things around again but, despite the enthusiasm of some, it is too late for this season we are too far behind and, even if we keep it up, we will shortly run out of games to catch up. What we can do is build up momentum for next season. St Mirren did the same last year in the last ten games and look where they are now. If we can keep this up and retain our best remaining players we are well capable of gaining promotion next year. We just need to be far more consistent than this.
  17. Having looked at the remaining championship fixtures, I think if we win our next 3 games Falkirk and Dumbarton x2 (all very winnable IMO) then qualification for the playoffs will be in our own hands even if Dundee Utd, Dunfermline and Morton win their remaining games. 9 points from our next 3 games would put us 5 behind Dunfermline and 3 behind Morton with a game in hand on each and still to play both teams (assuming both win their games, even better if not!). A big ask, but win our remaining games and we'd be guaranteed a playoff place finishing in 3rd (I think!?).
