  1. From the BBC match report: Inverness Caledonian Thistle manager John Robertson: "I thought we totally dominated the match for an hour, created all the best chances in the first half, played some lovely football and cut through them for fun. We just couldn't get it past Foxy - I thought he had a terrific game. "We played the better football, created better chances but just didn't take them. In the end it's a good point - it's away and it's a derby game but we would have liked to have won. But to come to a club that's spent double the budget we've spent and be the better side shows that we are going to be at the right end of the table." As ever, good summary from Robbo. Very happy to be the better side, at less than half the cost. Moreover, a younger side with more to come as they mature together.
  2. excellant day brilliant banter in the singing section and a deserved point. Probs fair result but i thought we were the better side throughout. For all county's money and quality on the pitch they looked very ordinary and lacked any cohesion. Just missed that spark up top otherwise we would have won that. Big shout out to Liam Polworth, standout player on the pitch pulling all the strings. Also shout out for completely different angle to Ian Vigurs, who came on and worked so hard to take Liam out of the game. What a thug ?
  3. But We ARE the most successful club in the Highlands - and bantering windups are most welcome
  4. Quiet there at the moment
  5. I agree with the comments above. We bossed the first half, but didn't manage to take any chances, Second more even, but County finished stronger. Both teams will feel they could have won, so a draw probably fair. Polworth was my man of the match. Welsh did a real shift in midfield and Ridgers kept everything out. I agree, Calder for Doran after 75 would have made sense, but we never saw Calder warming up so perhaps not fully fit? Ridgers was his reliable self. The defence was solid in the main. Chalmers and Welsh looking increasingly good as our holding players. Polworth was the stand out, with Doran and Walsh both contributing. With more composure, Walsh could have won it for us in the second half. White worked hard and was a menace, A win would have been great but I'd have taken a draw before kick off, so reasonably happy and I enjoyed the game. Of our former players, I had forgotten Cowie was playing until he was subbed, Draper did little and should have been booked first half. Mckay was well handled by big Coll despite the early. Galen get which left Coll limping. Vigurs addd quality when he came on, but injuring Polly was unforgivable. The biggest surprise? Collum's performance! Very sensible refereeing keeping cards in his pocket as long as he could given how wet the pitch was. What's happened to Austin? Injured or out of favour?
  6. A big thumbs up to our support today there in big numbers and great voice.
  7. Where's oor Charlie when you need him? ?
  8. Agree totally with you on this IHE. Too many posters seem to have an agenda against the current board. This seems to be that they want the board to communicate on everything and anything even when it isn't required and would add nothing in terms of moving the club forward
  9. If you look at the picture attached to that report the journalist obviously doesn't realise Victoria park is in dingwall as she thought they were playing in Inverness.
  10. Would love to see a special edition whisky.
  11. Final Score - Ross County - Sweet feckin nothing ICT 0
  12. and well behaved. Anyone else think the police presence was a bit OTT? Fair play to the ones in front of us in stand who were good craic.
  13. Happy with a good away point. The defence and midfield is looking strong and compact. We are becoming hard to beat and this bodes well for the rest of the season. The challenge is going to be how the tight squad deals with injuries and suspensions.
  14. Not a bad point at all.
  15. I believe the club have taken match catering in house. Is there any plans to look at pricing. £2 for a bottle of water is excessive when you can buy 24 bottles under a fiver at cash and carry. Is there any facility to get free tap water inside the ground?
  16. You have been speaking to far to many gadgies spreading malicious rumors
  17. Thought that I would let in run a little longer as the "questions" have been more serious and appropriate. Will fire off an answer request and lets see what happens.
  18. Perhaps the board should concentrate on getting the basics right first. The chairman is virtually anonymous when it comes to both the fans and the media and legitimate concerns remain unanswered and, thus far, it's far from clear what the new CEO is bringing to the party. The one thing the board has got right is the appointment of John Robertson who might not be a tactical genius but has repaired the hull of a sinking ship and got us sailing, once again, in the right direction sometimes I think despite the actions, or inactions, of the board rather than because of them. Credit to him for also being the one and only current public face of the club a role that surely should fall on others leaving him to concentrate more on football matters. Doug Mcgillivray, David Sutherland, Alan Savage and Kenny Cameron may all have made mistakes but they were all at least prepared to address the media and fans and explain themselves. The present incumbent only seems to break cover yo issue poorly worded statements apologising for mistakes and making hollow promises about doing better in the future.
  19. Time to stop making such stupid boasts unless and until we are once more in a position to justify them. We may still be a point above County but that time still remains some way off.
