That's an absolutely fantastic gesture. There's a lot the club haven't gotten right over the last couple of years but this is great. Well done to all involved!

I see that our 2015 Cup Final opponents have gone out of this year's tournament at the first time of asking against lower league opponents. With the prospect of a winnable home tie in prospect, we need to make sure we don't follow suit. We need to bear in mind that a home tie against East Kilbride will be as much of an incentive to Edinburgh City as it is to us.

The #ICTFC U18s continued their incredible start to the season with a comeback to beat Fife Elite 5-4. @DanielMackay27 with 2 goals, @Ross_gunn10 with 2 also and @CameronHarper01 with the other Copied from the club twitter account the game was played yesterday.

So the only real reason that Edinburgh City are not a mickey mouse pub team is because there isn't a pub close enuff to align to ?

Of course, wouldn't expect anything else. Last week v Alloa in the irn bru cup was great. A lot of their fans were giving it the "mickey mouse, pub team, shouldn't be on the same pitch" chat. Momentum is a great thing, although I honestly think Inverness will be a step too far. Going to enjoy the day whatever happens, splashed out on hospitality.. it's a pity the games been moved to the Sunday. Have the utmost respect for fans travelling out with the central belt. I assume it'll have a big effect on the travelling support?

Very well done. I, like a number of others, have been critical of much that has been done, or not done, of late but this is deserving of nothing but praise and respect.

Massive well done to Pauline for pulling all this together and making it happen and to the club for hosting it ? ICTFC have hosted a "Festive Friends" dinner for the last three years, but this is the first time they've done it on Christmas Day and that will make a huge difference to those who may have otherwise spent the day alone.

Brilliant. As RIG said, there are many things the club/Board has done, or not done, which have not pleased all the supporters. However, this gesture to the lonely, or elderly, or less well off should be applauded. Well done to the Board for a sincere and appropriate initiative for which they should receive enormous credit. I hope that the day proves to be a tremendous success, and enjoyed by all who participate, both guests and ICT staff.

This should be spread high and wide to reach as many people as possible and the club commended for their forward thinking and compassionate gesture.
