  1. Absolutely terrific effort from the team today. Captain Carl led by example and made a brilliant clearance off the line in the first half to keep it at 1-0. Doran too led by example and must have run miles. He scored the goal but arguably should scored when through on the keeper and blasted another couple wide, but he did well to get in the positions to score in the first place. Carson and Trafford were excellent today. If they can play like that every week then when Welsh and Walsh are back, that will be some midfield we will have. A huge 3 points. Well done lads!
  2. Carl Tremarco’s goal line clearance was something else
  3. Get in There....... 1-0 ..... Aaron Doran !!!!
  4. Just arrived in Dundee - Come on Caley.
  5. I’ve thought that too. The off pitch issues clearly not as impacted the players. However, the bug running through the club maybe was a bigger issue than we realised: only time will tell. There was determination and passion today, so hopefully the guys are focussed and back on track. I’ve seen a comment on social media about our ball boys. Credit(?) to them for twice winding Dundee up, once at a goal kick and then at a throw. Unusual for us to be trying to waste time. That said, the way the guys closed out the last five minutes was spot on. We kept the ball at the Dundee end and played the clock down brilliantly.
  6. Coincidence the bad run started when the EGM and our financial problems were announced and ended when the latest two re-appointments to the board were announced?
  7. Well that was the proverbial backs to the wall performance, feckin awful to watch for most of the game. Dundee had a huge amount of possession but didn't do a great deal with it, Don't think Ridgers had a proper save to make, only in the last 10 minutes or so did we wake up and get forward and put some pressure in the Dee defence, but once again we wasted a couple of chances. Good to see Doran score as he's been off form recently, but he missed a glaring chance when one on one with the Dee keeper. However 1 0 win, 3 points, clean sheet can not be sniffed at especially when we have been rank rotten for weeks. Don't know what to make of Storey, he looked like he had a complete brain freeze when he was given the ball, he needs to play through the middle or do something different. Big Jord did some stuff right but faded big time second half and got subbed, Also good to see Rooney back on the pitch as Brad is still a bombscare.
  8. A great team performance. Five first team players out, two more presumably not fully fit and we lost McKay and Tremarco to injuries during the game. Dundee had a lot of possession and moved it nicely, but other than one Tremarco cleared off the line and one sitter they missed, we closed it out extremely well. We should have had a second when Doran was put through one on one with the keeper. Doran finished well after Carson, I think, did well to play him in. I agree with the comment above, Carson and Trafford were immense. McHattie was out of position but did ok. Doran and Storey both had their best games for a few weeks. White did well first half. Ridgers had surprisingly little to do, whilst the defence suck to its task. McCart was more like himself. Great to see Rooney come off the bench. Hopefully he will be ready to start next week. A great result, praise to all 14 who took part. Not our best performance this season, but much better than recently and we got the job done. Some poor decisions from the officials, angering both sets of fans at times, but that did not impact the outcome. Hopefully confidence is back and we move up again!
  9. Well happy with the 3 points today and hopefully we don't suffer our usual stutter against a side from the lower end of the table next week...
  10. Thought Carson and Trafford were immense today
  11. I'll take that. Well done to all concerned.
  12. I really do not believe that starting X1. Hope I am eating Humble Pie later but Robbo is not learning from his mistakes and being overly dependent on his favourites.
