  1. The new NAPs season starts again on Friday 4th August and will follow the same format as before. - fixtures are posted weekly for the weekend or midweek of play - minimum of 6 fixtures required to run the week - those taking part start with 200 points, every week you 'bet' 10 points on a home, away or draw prediction from any of the fixtures posted - points are cumulative over the season and the winner is the one with the most points at the end of the season - If you miss a week you have 10 points automatically deducted - You also don't have to join right at the start, you can join after but will have 10 points deducted for every week you've missed up until then Can you complete the season or will you end up bankrupt?

  2. This Diddy League IS our pre season. Can you recall that we finished later than usual last season. If we can pinch points at the Rock and against Airdrie they will be bonuses. I think that we will and then we can travel to Dundee with a real cup tie feeling and challenge. I don't want to go out of this cup but I do see it more as a preparatory and investigatory journey and the more players we field and observe - the better for all concerned.

  3. I thought we controlled that game from start to finish. Yes we were a wee bit off - passes slightly behind or over hit to the intended target but overall we created chances and a bit or rustiness is to be expected. The guys have been at training for two weeks. There were a number of new players, others playing in new positions and others starting for first time in a long time. I actually think we’ve got a really decent squad in place for this league and am actually really excited. These cup games are warm ups for a long long season.

  4. Not long now until the beginning of the new league season on 4th August and the start of the NAPs competition for 2023/24. Thought I would shamelessly plug it to see if we can get more players compared to the 13 we had last year. Head to the Betting Forum where the weekly fixtures are posted along with the points.

  6. The club are giving him an extra week on trial owing to him having a strain. He was a spectator on Saturday. I believe I read that in the Courier which had this headline ..for subscribers Inverness Caledonian Thistle are delaying decision over trialist By Andrew Henderson - [email protected] Published: 22:30, 13 July 2023 | Updated: 11:22, 14 July 2023

  8. When it comes to shooting, let’s hope our players are rather more accurate at hitting the target than stormtroopers are!

  10. Certainly looks like it and he seems a yard faster too. If he keeps this going he will be the player he was several years ago!

  11. Fair enough. I thought we looked livelier and tried to capitalise on Samuels’ pace which we didn’t do at all in the first half. After the changes, on a different day Mckay could have had a hat trick whilst a great save by the ‘keeper stopped Doran getting his hat trick. I hope we are still rusty and using the early group games to add sharpness and that we hit the ground running in the league. It could be worse. Look what happened to Dundee United, St Johnstone and St Mirren. We need to focus on getting out of this group as we know from last season that even just making the first knock out round is worth £50k.
