  1. Salute to the ICT fans that journeyed down for this match. You fall into the dedicated die-hard fan category for me. Tuesday winters day, couple hundred plus miles over a four hours trek with hope and a bit of uncertainty in the outcome. It captures perfectly the appeal of football and why fans still enjoy and put themselves out to follow and support their team through thick and thin. It wasn’t the outcome the team and fans wanted, however the positive effect on the team of fan support on the night was valued and helped in their effort and performance I’m sure. It’s up to us ‘home birds’ to do our part at the home matches. 10 out of 10 for attending last night. bc

  2. I journeyed up...Euston to Carlisle, Carlisle to Dumfries, Last train back to Carlisle, Overnighter in Carlisle, back in my London office by lunchtime...bloody loved it A bit chilly, but at half time was chatting to a Man Utd/QotS fan in the drinks queue, before discovering they don't take payment card, and he bought my coffee! (which got me through the 2nd half) Thought the team played pretty well last night, Longstaff being out affected the midfield balance in my view. When we equalised to 2-2 I think the team got too excited about trying to win and left themselves a bit open. There were times during the match when our defence seemed to consist of just the two CB's as the FB's were pushing up so much...the tikki-takki stuff seems to be largely out Bavidge is some signing, and Bray looked great at right wing-back. Slightly annoying that Brooks got two against us, but did he get a fair crack when he was our player or does he fit better at QotS Anyway that's another ground ticked off...roll on Dumbarton away in March

  3. Another good honest reaction giving praise where it's due whilst recognising the things that need to be worked on. Looking at the last 5 games we've won 3 and lost 2 giving us 9 points. Under Ferguson we'd have been looking for 5 draws at best giving us 5 points. For that reason the losses are less impactful and the team playing all out for the win is delivering much better entertainment. I'd be happy with the same points haul from the next 5 games.

  4. Losing is disappointing, but if we were to lose one of our last three, this was the one. From the BBC text, Brooks was out to prove a point after us hardly playing him then letting him go. I hope Longstaff and Bavidge are fit for Saturday. Annan are still very much in touching distance. Regroup and move on.

  5. Well done eagle, big respect, some journey. I was planning going on the supporters bus that would have taken me direct to the ground. Chickened out big style. You had a fair bit of hopping on and off to get there. 110 miles more than from Inverness. And being an old dude I had no office to have to go to the next day. your next game is an even greater distance, 258 miles more from London than Inverness. i was planning the Alloa game next week until my daughter called me today saying I got you and the boys tickets for the county v Hibs match. What’s a granddad supposed to do. ( lame excuse )

  7. A win at Palmerston is always a tough ask, been some good tussles with ourselves and "the only team in the bible" over the years. Remember a couple of enjoyable (but long) away days there in the past. No points is a bit of a kicker but on the plus side we seem to have competed and came close. Confident we can close the gap on Annan over the coming weeks and reach safety. Refreshing that SK maintains an honest outlook. Also great that Bavidge has 3 goals in 3 games!

  8. Bad luck. The battle may have been lost, but I'm still confident that the war will be won. Sounds like the team gave it a good go and sometimes that is all you can do.
