  1. Let us know which team you're signing for so we can all follow your progress!

  2. I'm sick of hearing Celtic's claim as having 'the best support in the world'! What does it actually mean? A club has its support and that's that. No one support is 'better' than another. Having more supporters doesn't naturally make that club's support better than any another! Perceived 'atmosphere' at grounds is also a poor gauge as again, that's usually down to the number of fans in attendance. How about arrests made at grounds? Don't think Celtic would fare so well on that count! But again, they've so many fans that there's obviously going to be more fans 'lifted'. A Man Utd supporter from Belfast who travels to Old Trafford once a season for his routine visit to 'keep-up' the pretence of being a fan is surely not a better supporter than an Aberdeen based Inverness CT fan who makes the trip home very second week to follow his team! There's simply no such thing as 'the best supporters'. Indeed, I've more time for guy who supports only one team, whether it be Wick, Montrose or Dunfermline than a bloke who has sympathies for Chelsea, Manchester City, Barcelona and the obligatory 'wee' team, like Watford! These folk, for me aren't real football fans!

  3. Apparently Hartley had Crispy Pancakes for tea. Hughes only had fish fingers...

  4. Disagre totally Sneckboy I've been a Chelsea fan since the early 80's, ICT fan since merger, pre-merger Caledonian. I would rather watch ICT week in week out but "make do" with Chels as I live in West London. It costs me a wedge to fly "home or away" to watch ICT so I head to the Bridge, but if / when we play Chelsea in Champions League I'll be in the Caley end. I also support any Scottish team that plays Chelsea in Europe so I beleive I can still support ICT 100% but be a bit of a slut and watch Chels..... "Chels" FFS.

  6. I call bullshit on the idea you cannot support two teams ... I am 100% ICT for every game no matter the opposition and have been since the day we were formed, but i am also 100% Toronto FC given that i live here and have been to virtually every home game since 2007. if people in the old cliche can give 110% then i can support 200% !!! incidentally, if ICT & TFC were ever to meet, in the club world cup final, or perhaps more likely a friendly, then it would be ICT for me.

  7. Great idea. Maybe some of the dissenters could go and speak to the man himself and put their concerns to him.

  9. Has this not been done already? The last time it was that he was going to sign but had to go back home as he'd left the iron on. Or had to pick up his dry cleaning I forget which.

  10. Right.. i'd guess by your avatar that you are really a County fan? Anyway, your post(if serious) is the act of a spoilt 13 yr old posted just before you throw toys out of big pram! I would love us to stay 2nd and reach a final and I don't really care who does it, what you don't realise is that ICT are not a huge club and cant pay big wages, like some(maybe most) of these players we bring in are not on big money, rather very modest money in fact, and any that show promise will be off, likewise managers (as we have seen)if successful will be offski. We need a manager who wants to be here and wants to succeed, and Hughes has stated that he is delighted to be in Inverness and see's the team needing very little or no change, but like it or not we require a manager at the helm as Shearer is not keen to be there any longer. I'm giving him my support for sure, and if you are an ICT fan you will too. No matter what happens this season I will never be behind Hughes. If at the end of next season we do well then I will reconsider. Do you doubt for one second that McKay will not be whisked away by an english cheque the moment the transfer window opens and he may not be the only one. When that happens give it a few weeks and lets hear you all sing the same song of we are behind you As to suggesting I am or ever have been a tinker from over the bridge then think again I may be wrong but I get the distinct impression that you are not wholly convinced by the appointment....

    • Relegation Statement
RELEGATION STATEMENT: This could have been said ten minutes after our defeat to Hamilton three days ago. So far, this is not the news that we on Caley Thistle Online wanted to hear. Pleased that we will still function as a club, disappointed that resignations have not been offered yet. Keeping fans waiting in silence for three days is unforgivable and relationships are drifting further apart than ever before. Silence is not the way forward, we deserve better as fans.

    • Inverness CT 2-3 (3-5) Hamilton - Play off final (relegation)
RELEGATED: Despite Inverness needing to get off the mark quickly, it was Accies that killed the tie inside the first fifteen minutes with strikes from Kevin O'Hara and Lewis Smith. Cammy Kerr reduced the leeway with a good strike from distance, but O'Hara struck again with a penalty before the break to diffuse the revival. We struggled to create anything of note and this reporter could not stomach any more and left the stadium. I'm told Alex Samuel pulled a goal back in stoppage time, but like the rest of the season it was too little too late.

    • Hamilton 2-1 Inverness CT - Play off final 1st Leg
A better showing from Inverness in the second half, especially with Lawal and Pepple on the park but it's Hamilton that take a one goal advantage up the A9 on Saturday. Lawal has been the standout performer in our last few games and surely he must start on Saturday. Pepple also did well, scored the goal, had an effort saved and got in a few balls across the box from tight positions.

Still, a shocker of a first half and we must be up for it from the start on Saturday.

    • Inverness CT (1-2) Hamilton - Play off Final 2nd Leg - Preview
The hurt, the pain, the reluctance and pig-headedness to listen to the fans asking what is going on, the lack of communication, the lack of ambition, the stench of mismanagement, the concert company, the battery farm, the demise since winning the Scottish Cup in 2015, the lack of passion, the lack of commitment, the dwindling fanbase, the lack of leadership. It has left the fans comfortably numb

    • Hamilton -V- Inverness CT - Play off Final 1st Leg - Preview
However all is not well and we just kept our heads above water thanks to Arbroath being rubbish. Onto the play offs and an insipid performance at Links Park left us all wondering if our time has come to drop into oblivion. Our performance certainly would not look out of place in the lower leagues. We clung on for a 0-0 draw away from home and scraped a 1-0 win at Inverness with Billy Mckay saving our blushes. Everything about the club has negative undertones at the moment.
