merged : 6th Round (QF) draw
I wish people hadn't mentioned that QF, I had to get counselling and still get flashbacks to this day.

Yesterdays Attendance
I wonder if the Hackies fans are having this debate. Did you see how many home fans they had this weekend while the away stand was packed full of DUFC fans? Dougie's oot the cup

ICT -V- Morton : Matchday Thread
We got decent coverage this week but mainly because the Saintees was off. They diverted the resources north to us.

Greetings from Blackpool
What sort of money do Blackpool get for playing in the Premierleague? 4 of us were going down for a weekend to see a game this season but we discovered the tickets were sold in blocks of 3. We could only have got the Wolves game but we dithered and it was sold out. Fleetwood Town though, that's another story..... ETA- MOTD was absolutely superb this week. Hardly a duff game on it.

Happy Birthday IHE
Plus ICT is Johndo's big team despite what you may have heard. ICT are not your big team so you would find a home over the bridge- they seem to encourage that sort of thing there. P.S. Happy birthday you auld phart. Lang may yer bum reek.

ICT -V- Morton : Matchday Thread
Couldn't see any handball but Hogg had his arms up complaining about something. He was also moaning away at the ref at full time.

Blackie Tackle last night
Blackie? More like Bruce Lee....

MERGED: Transfer Deadline Day
Down here in darkest Edinburghshire there's been plenty of talk about Roo all season. More likely that anybody watching him leading up to the window just decided he was gash.

United Preview
Well done Davie, excellent.

ICT fans on P&B
It started with St Mirren didn't it? That's why there are so many of the Paisley Soapdodgers on it. Lurk occasionally but don't get involved much. There's a long Caledonian thread.

Red Card
If it had been in play it would still be a foul would it not? I actually saw it happen once at Muirton Park. The Saints keeper Ally Donaldson took a kick at Rangers' Willie Johnston while the ball was up the other end and a penalty was given. Mind you I suppose that involved the OF so it's a bad example.

Not this again. Even Barrowloads scored plenty for some wee div 2 team and what a hit he turned out to be.

No, the Dude is a slim guy with shoulder-length hair.

Motherwell -V- ICT : Matchday Thread
Shane was def. hugging the right touchline in the Jonny Hayes role, which was bizarre for a player who's probably a decent target man and strong in the air. Kept cutting inside onto his left foot and getting dispossessed by his man. I would say skill on the ball is pretty near top of the list for a midfielder, no? Felt a bit sorry for him, but still baffled as to why he was never hooked. Duncan was hooked, not sure why, tiredness from not playing or because he was on a yellow? Can't complain about the stewards, they let us stand all day. The beardy one must have been glad to see the back of the Dude who was pulling his chain all day. Same goes for the heid barman in the Social Club Disagree with Maryhill up to a point. A few of us felt we quite enjoyed the game - mind you that was back in the car with the heater going.

Getting tickets for Blackpool fc
What Alex said. We were planning a weekend down there around Sept/Oct time. The only freestanding ones were Wolves in November and West ham which is a Tues night in Feb. The rest were in blocks of 3.

Bringing the game into disrepute
Have a green dot sir.

'Well roll call
Can we get in the club OK then? I was only in once at a Gretna game. Far better than Jack Daniel's.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
I don't think there's much in it myself between Rooney & Nish. Playing for Hibs and their demanding fans has ripped the confidence out of Nish. He always did well against us, whether it was Clyde, Killie, or early at Hibs. On the other hand Butch is getting the very best out of Rooney and he might not develop further. Under a different boss he may even go backwards. Good luck to the big man anyway, you couldn't meet a nicer guy. Wee Kev's OK going forward but he's a pretty hesitant/uncommitted defender IMO. I don't know how often he actually played for Hibs to give people an opinion. Maybe Rankin's another guy like Rooney who did well here. ICT have a habit of getting the right people running the club, the right spirit at the club, and great commitment from pretty average players. That goes a long long way and is how we keep up with far larger clubs like Hibs and Aberdeen.

MERGED: Rooney Transfer ???
Poor move for all parties if you ask me. A bit like Pele going to the Dons.

Our worst ever players in the SPL?
There was a spell at New Year when Denzil and Dargo were really gelling. We stuffed Hibs, St Mirren and Stirling. Then they both got injured. Denzil never raised a peep after that. Except one day he helped the Midden tear us to bits at Love St. Wonderful, wonderful footballer under Pele though.

Dennis Wyness signs for Elgin City
Oh how the mighty have fallen. Good luck Denzil and I hope you got the rabies shots.
