  1. Just looking at the BBC stats..... Did somebody tell us it's a 3.30 ko?
  2. Must be 3 points...!!!!!
  3. In the game in 2010 Whitehill (having won away at Lossiemouth for the second time in 3 years) were cruising at 4-1 before two late Wick goals had them hanging on at 4-3 with the prospect of a replay, before going out 3-1 away at Montrose in rd 3.
  4. Mainly that I'm on the committee at Whitehill and we took Lothian's manager and their 4 best players. the other bits are just hearsay.
  5. The best way I can put it is: before Ryan I can't remember the last time ICT had a player where I got a wee thrill (!) and sat up in my seat expecting something to happen when he got the ball....
  6. Exactemundo
  7. Have to agree with Yngwie especially as he was sitting right next to me and pillars were few and far between. Just like the Perth game if we had a finisher we would have had that game wrapped up by half time. No idea why Yogi didn't throw on Ferguson and Polworth for the last 20 just to run about like headless chickens instead of Lopez who just isn't suited to the Premiership and Mulombo who looked to be tiring anyway before his karate kid impression. You could see in the faces of our 10 remaining players just how gutted they were as they trudged off in front of our fantastic support. I think the 'Jimmy says aye to a Killie Pie' record may have been broken today
  8. Looked a lot shorter and fatter in the flesh if you ask me....
  9. Bottom.... I afraid, we'd have been lucky to get even a win, I mean who would have scored the goals?? I think you've been whooshed....
  10. Draper made that error allowing Cummins to get in front of him to head that in. That was a really good cross because of its accuracy and there was a bit of a curve as it went in too far in front of Devine for him to put a head on it so it looked like our defence was caught admiring the beauty of that cross. Players were not switched on, but hey ho as long as it doesn't become a habit. aye, just seen the highlights. Drapes clearly caught sleeping. As Stuart McCall said, if Gary Warren had been playing Cummins was unlikely to score.
  11. The fans thing doesn't worry me at all. One strike against the C(o)unty or even Celtic/Dons/Utd etc and it's all forgotten. It's whether he's matured as a person.
  12. Massively disappointing will do for me. With only a few minutes left Saints had hardly got behind us more than once or twice and were reduced to punting in long diagonals rather like us against Astra at home, with exactly the same result. The ball in was a good one but would normally been headed away by Draper or Devine but for once in the game Cummins got a yard of space and that was that.
  13. I'm up at 6 tomorrow so just to echo what Yngwie said, after all he was sitting next to me and writing down all my comments . I thought Christie was immense. Lopez could have had a strike with his left but dithered and had to pass it to Christie who scored from a tighter angle. Really should have had that game sewn up as Saints were woeful. cant really see what Lopez is going to offer us although hoping to be proved wrong - well off the pace required in this league, caught in possession etc, but we were all loyal enough to give him a standing ovation when he went off. Mulombo has a bit of promise. Danny Devine is now turning out to be a real asset. horner and polworth were decent and slotted in no bother. I don't have any worries about us facing the drop this season. Interesting to see if County beat this lot on Wednesday.
  14. Don't have St John Ambulance in Scotland, it's St Andrew's which was founded in 1822, over 50 years earlier......
  15. Motherwell fans are known as "Dossers" are they not
  16. Here's the only other one I have
  17. The first of many
  18. No, you've just turned into an Aberdonian
  19. Doubt if there'll be any 'sit down' brigade next week
  20. no worries mate I was under the impression that they did too but my St Mirren colleague at work has told me that they don't. He he also warned me about Carbrini's sizing issues and how the tops are tiny so be aware when ordering Feck me - what size should I ask fer ? I think it's called 'darts player'
  21. I thought Astra were very well organised in defence and all our sideways passing came about because a) they pressed us all through the first half b) we had nobody with the skill to make a killer forward pass or take a risk at all. dreadful challenge by Drapes with two more defenders on hand and Naelifts and I were predicting a decent strike from star man Budescu as our new goalie tried to organise the wall. Second half they didn't press us so hard and let us have a lot of the ball as we didn't look likely to do much with it. Somebody at the game, maybe Ymip, said to me at half time he thought they had an extra couple of gears. Difficult to say, no doubt we'll find out next week. I thought they were all physically very strong and often brushed off our players in the tackle using upper body. as I saw it two of their players were booked late on for time wasting. A third took a dive in the box and the ref indicated this but failed to book him. A club with a bit more European experience than us but when will we get another chance to gain more??? Christie MoM by a mile. The dirty tipsy b******s were the guys in the executive boxes who picked Tansey.
  22. yeah pretty much all bankers apart from Lothian who are weakened ( ) while there's been a lot of talk about Harestanes being strong and Girvan having got a bit of cash....
  23. that's intriguing. A local Romanian? Should do a feature on him. Or maybe just a gudgie
  24. Although he will perhaps admit that his opening line could have been better.....! As the first two posts he quotes are obviously tongue in cheek, perhaps Dons supporters don't do irony.
