Who will get the bullet first ?
I don't think Ivanauskas will return from his period of ill health. Funny how he took ill so quickly after a defeat and needed a couple of weeks off.

St. Mirren Roll Call
Is there still room on the bus maimie?? It eats into my nightshift quite a bit, but I would like to go.

St. Mirren Roll Call
This is one game I would really like to go to, but the weekend is shaping up to be a bit busy so looks like I'll have to make do with the radio. Make plenty of noise (as if you need to be told)

Stadium Announcer.
Then welcome to our new site. The more of the old characters we have on here the better. That's not to say that new posters are not equally important to provide a balance of opinion.

Is Being ICT Manager Easy?
I'll tell you one person who will give Steve Paterson for building the team, someone who has been upset that Pele hasn't received the credit he deserves over the years. That's our very own Charlie Christie, who really appreciates the foundations put in place by our former manager. To suggest that this is Brewster's team made me laugh out loud.

SANTA GAME V DONS
It would certainly make sense, but don't hold your breath. We were talking about this on Saturday. The additional TV money over the year balances out the cost, so making it as cheap as possible to get some bums on seats would at least give some kind of atmosphere.

ICT v Rangers (reserves)
Made this a sticky for those just in from work. I nearly missed it as it was quite far down the page. I was just getting organised to go, just checked the official site on time.

John Rankin
Saw him arriving for training this morning and he was still smiling. I am pleased for him and now that the pressure will be off a bit, hopefully there will be many more goals from midfield. It was obvious that it meant the world to him to score 1 far less 2. Well done that man.

John Rankin
A complete joke. He was utterly useless today and gave the ball away for Falkirks 2nd. That said, his 1st free kick was a cracker and the 2nd a pure fluke. However, you could see how much it meant to him and hopefully that will be a huge boost to the guy and here's hoping he can take that into next weeks game :001: Couldn't agree more...me and my mate were saying exactly this after the game. I actually felt that it was Rankine that should've gone off instead of Roy! But CC obviously knew something I didn't !!! :003: Posted on: Today at 08:31:25 PMPosted by: sophia Insert Quote "Utterly useless", "pish"....... Lets just say that it's difficult to respect your point of view if you can't express yourself without resorting to infantile abuse. I know it's a digital technology we use but does it have to be full on or full off all the time? John Rankin(e) was one of many in our team that was under performing until the most exiting finale to a game that reminded me of why I actually go to football. I count myself so lucky to be following a team that has known nothing but progress since its inception, progress that has not been silver spooned but fought hard for. Get real and support the team, every one of them. The rub is that I was calling for JR to be hooked in favour of Zander Sutherland. I'm an amateur and 10CC is a professional. When our 1st goal went in, I got the same feeling (the games ours) that I got after Les Fridge pulled off that miraculous save low to his right v Ayr Utd. So congratulations to all the players who contributed to a great afternoon, eventually. Great comments - we often think we know best, but if ever there was proof that the professionals are the ones in the know!! :001: I didn't think JR was having his best game either, but a couple of weeks ago, I thought he was really bad and I met John Doc on the Sunday and he thought he was excellent and played his best game for us. I said to him then that he obviously seems the game from a different perspective. If we could all see it as they do, we would all be football managers. :015:Vacancy at Dundee Utd if anyone is interested. :015: :015:

Thanks Mr Chairman
:015: :015: In which case Alan Savage might be more upset at being mistaken for Mike Smith. :015: It was indeed Alan Savage who sorted out ticketing at Hearts, so it does sound more likely it might have been him.

Golly turns down livvy
Shortest move ever. :015: :015:

Golly turns down livvy
Confirmed by the Courier. With quotes from Charlie saying he is glad he made the decision to stay. He says he played his best game for the reserves the other day and is almost back to his best form So can I move it back??
-
Falkirk Tactics
Denzil scored twice in the reserves, so surely he'll make the bench. Bayne and Dargo have to start.
-
Graham Bayne........
I don't think Charlie said Grant would be the next club captain (remember that is still Golly), but a FUTURE club captain.
-
Black's Suspension
If he his missing 2 games he must have issues still being carried over from last season as it says in the rules posted by libero earlier
-
Reserves beat Pars
1 goal from McSwegan and 2 from Wyness in the first half. 3-0 full time. short report here

Referee for Sat v. Falkirk is....
Alan Freeland is at Celtic Park - that should be good for a laugh.
-
Congratulations Courier
If you are looking for them today you won't find them as they only print them on Fridays

Black's Suspension
Yes Scotty I think that's right. But if he had played and got a booking in the Pars game he would have been suspended for Ibrox as there was a 14 day gap between the games with the international break. We need another home win on Saturday so let's hope he is on form to take a bit of revenge on Falkirk.
-
Black's Suspension
Thanks that clears that up a bit at least. I was sure I had read somewhere that Charlie was going to rest him for the Dunfermline game to save him for the Rangers game. (as well as showing a bit of discipline). With the international break that makes 14 days between games. So in most cases that would be the 'next again' game, but not on this occasion. Cheers
-
Black's Suspension
Now I'm a bit confused by this. Blackie was on 5 bookings and would be due a suspension with 6. He was 'rested' for the Dunfermline game and I thought that there were 2 reasons for this. 1. To teach him a lesson - bit of discipline and 2. To avoid another booking which would take him to the suspension tally. Now I thought that this was to save him for the Rangers game, but I think you are right Kencar and the suspension doesn't start until the 'next again' game, rather than the one immediately following. So now I am confused, but I will try to find out a bit more.
