Can Ict Bounce Back Next Year ?
We will be the kind of team that will go up and down between spl and first, just as Dundee, Dunfermline, Morton, Falkirk, St Mirren, St Johnstone et all have done for years. We are not a big enough club and do not have the fan base/ money to be anything else.

Not All The Damage Was Under Brewster
I think this is harsh on the players. They had too much to do, what they did was magnificent and they only just fell short. (goal difference!) If we had stayed up with current squad and they played next year with the same spirit they have had since Terry came in I think we would easily have finnished 8th or above next season. If anyone is to blame it's the board for re-employing Brewster giving him too long and playing too safe financially. You have to invest in a business to make it successful.

Can Ict Bounce Back Next Year ?
Hibs did it!!

Can Ict Bounce Back Next Year ?
Don't think Partick, Morton, Dunfermline etc are any more prestigious than us!

Can Ict Bounce Back Next Year ?
Realistically I doubt we can bounce straight back up. Hibs are the only side? to have done it and I think they retained a large % of the team that they had in the SPL. They did this by being prepared to run at a loss and continue on a spl budget that year, a risk I cannot see our financially prudent board taking. I think ICT will be lucky to hold on to half the current squad, we are looking at starting again and that takes time. Also Dundee have solved their financial problems and as far as I understand have the backing of an ambitious millionaire who is already spending huge to build a team with the aim of getting them promoted next season. Gretna have already proved this can be done. As we cannot compete financially with Dundee I cannot see us coming straight back up.

One More Sleep!
What the Frak is Sleep??? Wish I could, but far too nervous past few days, this has left me more grumpy than normal and has resulted in lots of clashes with wife. TB says he's sleeping ok thanks to "a few glasses of red wine" Unfortunately booze can never be my answer... it's at times like these, I wish I wasn't a recovering alcoholic.

If Ict Go Down (merged)
Why the heck would Barrowman want to go anywhere, he's on a big wage, and his performances arn't going to bring in a better offer.

Early Start Next Season?
We could still finish 10th though if results go our way, so it may not effect us.

Chants Of The Season
Seeing as Yogi recently said if he left managment he would go back to being a painter. It has to be. "Oh I'd rather have a Butcher than a Painter" Simples....

Playing For Managers Future
I don't understand this. Butcher has said in the press that Malpas is responsible for tactics and that his own role is more public relations. So I put it to you that Malpas is the genius behind our revival!!

Playing For Managers Future
Whilst TB & MM have a 18 month contract, I'm pretty sure their is a relegation get out clause for both them and club. I cannot see Terry being as keen to manage us in the first division, and if we go down can we afford his wages?.

Who's The Best Player You've Ever Seen
Craig Bellamy (when on loan to Celtic) against us, springs to mind.

Team For Killie
Can not be stressed enough how dangerous Kevin Kyle is, he has scored the last 6 Killie goals! Killie are often refered too on footballing forums as Kylemarnock these days such is the difference he brings to their team when he plays. Signed in January if he had been fully fit and had not been out with injury for periods I have no doubt Killie would not be in the drop zone.

Matchday Thread: Motherwell -v- I.c.t.
If we lose both our last games and Midden win one of their two. Then it could be down to goal difference betwen us and midden. I think? The maths is so confusing....

A Fast Change
If we had beaten Hamilton and the weekend, they would have had nought to play for going into tonights match against Falkirk. Drawing with us means that they need a win tonight to secure safety. If we win tonight and Falkirk get beaten then I think we are safe also?. Graham

Today's Games
Aye but this isn't a two horse race. Personally,I think St Mirren look more likely to go down than us or Falkirk.
-
St Mirren Away
Aye, so good they are only a couple of points ahead of us. Positive thinking....please

Terry Butcher's Combined Roles
Lets not kid ourselfs Malpas is the tactician/the day to day football man so to all intents and purposes he is more the team manager than TB. TB has admitted as much in his interviews. Interviews is TB's forte, he is if you like the PR man. Graham

Winning Ugly
Horrible second half... feel some posters a bit harsh on Imrie (he was fouled/bullyed off the ball how many times today??) . I'm sure it's going to get increasingly ugly from now to the end of the season!!. But thats ok bottom line is 3 points is 3 points, you don't get bonus points for playing fair or playing tippy tappy total football. !!

Yogi's Opinion
The great thing about Falkirk beating us yesterday is it guarantees Yogi will stay as Falkirk manager. The Falkirk board are not going to dump a manager when they are on a successful cup run and the cup run can only distract them from league business. Imagine we had won yesterday and that had been enough for the Falkirk board to sack him. Then we would be worried about a Falkirk bounce. I think as long as Yogi is Falkirk manager they will continue struggle to get results in the league and this can only be good for our survival hopes. We beat ourselves yesterday, a silly defensive error and the resulting 10 playing 11, cost us the game.. If we don't make stupid errors, I cannot see why 6 points against Falkirk in the remaining 2 fixtures with them is not possible.

Hamilton Accies 'insolvent' Says Judge
No chance. they would only be in real trouble if they had to drop to the first. From what I have read they are 1.6 million in debt but half or more of that is owed to their chairman. Their assets are their players. The club are making good money this season and worst case scenario is that they may have to sell a couple of their star players to balance the books.
