  1. Better than a Monday night and prob a sunday as well. Won't get much time in pub though by time I get down the road from Wick. Although I go on holiday that day so a good start to it!
  2. The Tartan Army are nothing but a bunch of kilt-wearing, cringe-inducing, drunken hooligans. what a fanny You are mocking kilt wearing on a Scottish football team's forum...ok then. And what is wrong with wearing the national dress that I'm sure the majority here have at some time. Although coming from someone's who's knowledge is suggesting signing random Samoans or random tall people then I'm not really supprised!

  4. It was a foul that was worthy of a yellow card that is all. And how could the referee possibly been on the spot quicker, OTJ got straight up and went for the guy.
  5. http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/scotland/19236092 From about 3.44 onwards if anyone is still in doubt about it being a red card!
  6. Sorry but there was an attempted head butt. He got up and ran 5 yards to the Killie player and after grabing him pushed his head forward. Total idiot, hope he gets hammered by Butcher for it. As for the people who think a yellow would have been enough they could not have had a good view of it. We were sitting in the wing towards away end so it happened clearly right in front of us and everyone round that area was giving him peleters. Even Butcher said it was defienetly a red card.
  7. I highly doubt many of these 'football tourists' actually exsist. If they wanted to watch county they would have gone over last season. There may be some who go to watch whatever game is on but I cant see them being season ticket holders. Why would someone who is not really a proper fan of ICT spend good money to sit and watch dire football, neturals would pick and chose games. It is our own fans who are not renewing for this year, not neturals.
  8. Almost every team is up or closing in on last years sales, except for us. I don't believe the standard of football argument as the standard is rubbish across the league, we are no exception in that. But still the other clubs sales are going well with their fans getting behind the team when they most need it, again except us! Does anyone know how many season tickets we sold last year? 20% is a massive amount of fans who have given up their tickets and this only seems to be really happening here.
  9. I can do wednesday
  10. Rangers being not allowed into the league is good for us as there should now be one team in the league worse than us in Dunfermline or Dundee. Take them away and we will be by far the worst team. I fully expect County to finish above us next season as things stand.
  11. ICT will vote no. I am sure of that. Not because they necessarily want to but because it will be the only option. It looks like there will be enough clubs who have publically said they will be voting no to make the result pre-determined. So for the other clubs they might as well vote no, even if they don't want to, to keep their fans happy as there is nothing to gain by voting yes. That would only annoy their own supporters.
  12. If they are allowed into the 1st Division then every team in that league should refuse to play them. The argument is that there would be a lack of competition if they went down to the 3rd division. At least they have playoff places there. In the 1st division what would the other teams have to play for? Avoiding relegation. 3rd Division to start as all new teams to the Scottish Leagues that have come before them have had to do.
  13. Incase anyone hasn't seen them. Here is the fans survey results- http://www.splsurvey.co.uk/SPL_SURVEY_Newco-FFP-Results.pdf
  14. Motherwell's are up 30% though.
  15. Anyone want a good laugh go and read the County overthebridge site!
  16. If there is a space in the SPL (which there is) it should go to the 2nd place team in the first division. A new club can not saunter up and want to join the Scottish Leagues starting in the top league, skipping all the other professional divisions. every new club wanting to join the Scottish Leagues has had to start in the bottom teir and there should be no exception for this club. On the money front it is probably a good thing for ICT and the SPL. Some people here have mentioned money from games at Ibrox, we get no money from these games. The crowds we get against Rangers are being replaced to similar crowds against Ross County so we are not losing out in that respect either. It also doesn't matter how many games we have on tv as tv money is determined before hand. Sky have already said that they will stay in Scottish football and this new club not being in the league does not affect next seasons tv deal at all. What they will possible want to do is re-negotiate the future deal wich is one the table. This new club will most likely be back in the spl in 3 years anyway so it would only have an effect for 2 seasons and that is if it is reduced which is only an if at the moment and no one knows by how much. The most important thing though is if this new club is not in the SPL then the 11-1 voting system which at the moment guarantees the OF the majority of the league's money can be scrapped and a fairer distribution of money can occur. At the moment 1st and 2nd receive a far higher percentage of prize money with a major drop to 3rd place. If the money is distributed more fairly there is a very good chance we would recieve more money even if the tv deal is reduced!
  17. Touch it. Diego's quarter about then as well. Diego dance. On the Bus!! I'm on holiday then, I will also be up for it!! i have no recolection of posting this!!
  18. I very much doubt he will go to Aberdeen. He will leave though, but to England is more likely. He has been great for us, when he hasn't been injured, so good luck to him...as long as he isn't in the SPL.

  20. Tansey had the ball but gave it to Hayes, first thought is becasue they know he's leaving. Who won the player of the year awards that they were doing after the match?
  21. Thrown in the shallow end or the kiddies pool I think!
  22. I think your signing random Samoans idea was slightly better than this signing random giants one...
  23. No idea what next season will hold. I expect us to be battling at the bottom of the league but no idea if we will survive or not. A lot depends on how the squad is looking come next season. At present I would expect us to finish bottom with what we have and the way we are playing just now but that can all change very quickly.
  24. Think your stats are slightly wrong 04/05 4,067 but with half a season in Aberdeen (finished 8th 44 points) 05/06 5,061 (finished 7th 58 points, best season) 06/07 4,814 (finished 8th 46 points) 07/08 4,753 (finished 9th 43 points) 08/09 4,457 (finished 12th 37 points) 10/11 4,526 (finished 7th 53 points) 11/12 4,166 (10th best possible finish currently 33 points) What mroe interesting is that there is a good chance we will finish on less points than we were relegated with before!
  25. Really hope that Tokely is still here next season. The only player who will really fight for the team in derby games.
