  1. Bobby Wilson is available.
  2. Along with the traditional Scottie dog, Iron, and Top hat, there should be playing pieces representing Tesco and Tullochs.
  3. Some interesting views here... http://www.oldukphotos.com/inverness-shire-inverness.htm What on earth were the Council smoking in the 1960s?
  4. Poor Wayne Bridge - he's not even first choice with his his wife. John Terry has been lined up to star in a new ITV drama. It's called Other Footballers' Wives. John Terry has announced he's lost his England captain's armband. Fabio Capello told him to ask Wayne Bridge to check under the bed. John Terry has explained he didn't mean to sleep with Vanessa Perroncel - he just slipped while he was showing her how to take a penalty. We all knew John Terry liked scoring at The Bridge, but this is ridiculous. What do Wayne Bridge and the Titanic have in common? They both should've stayed at Southampton.
  5. What kind of money did the man actually pay for books? My only dealing with him was when I placed two manky looking tomes from his shelves on his counter and he tried to charge me 18 quid for them! I left them lying there and departed, making voluble and unfavourable comparisons between his establishment and a jumble sale. He's usually willing to barter, you obviously lack the gift of the gab. :P
  6. God  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDQ_ZUJCYy4...feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=__dH9og7eb8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSpGJJU5YiA
  7. I agree with the OP. We lost some of our better players when we were relegated, but Butcher's signings, despite a slow start, have grown as the season has progressed. We now have the nucleus of a strong team. Hayes, Stratford, Bulvitis, Sanchez, Odiambo and Cox have all impressed and can only get better. This was always going to be one of those tricky 'transition' seasons but we've come through and have a great chance of going straight back up. Both our results and our performances have improved steadily. We are seeing some of the best attacking football being played at the TCS for many a year and long may it continue.
  8. Grant Munro has come on leaps and bounds this season, he gets my vote.
  9. A large section of Celtic and Rangers supporters bring politics into football every week. Why on earth are there ultra irish-nationalist fanatics attending Scottish football matches and singing belligerent songs about Irish politics across the terraces to Inverness / Kilmarnock / Motherwell etc fans every week? I don't get it. :026: It's only natural that opposition fans should attempt to wind these lunatics up. The young boys singing the famine song were probably attempting to do just that, wind them up by singing a rangers song. In all likelyhood none of them could care less about Irish politics, rather they were merely imitating the nonsense of the old firm fans. Nobody deserves to be mocked and wound up more than old firm fans, lets just hope the supporters who attracted the wrath of the powers that be learn from this and go about it in a more sensible (and less misinterpretable) way next time.
  10. This is the kind of ridiculous negative thread that puts me off this forum.
  11. Imagine if we managed to get Pavels and Bulvitis as a central defensive partnership, how epic would that be.
  12. Too much baggage, sorry. He's been living clean for 2 years and feels ready to return to managment.
  13. Steve Paterson. - Good eye for talent - Able to assemble a squad on a shoestring budget - Tactical knowledge - Top notch motivational / man managment skills - Attacking football - Knowledge of the Highland league (the next generation of Wilsons, McBains, McArthurs, Tokelys etc) - Respected by the fans
  14. When I walk into Spoons I don't suddenly turn into a jakey because they charge less for a pint. I don't see why every single one of us should be punished and hit in the wallet for the actions of an irresposible few. :)
  15. I don't get where this 'gigantic ego' tag seems to come from. Have any of you lot even met the guy? You don't get out of the first division without scoring a bucketload of goals, if we have any aspirations of winning this league this season or next we need to hold onto Imrie IMHO. On his day he's probably our best attacking player, and (although he rarely gets any plaudits for it) usually one of the hardest grafters on the pitch.
  16. Goal of the Decade - Liam Keogh volley vs Clyde away Player of the Decade - Barry Wilson Manager of the Decade - Paterson Captain of the Decade - Bobby Mann Goalkeeper of the Decade - Jim Calder Defender of the Decade - Ian McArthur Midfielder of the Decade - Barry Wilson Striker of the Decade - Paul Ritchie Assistant Manager of the Decade - Alec Caldwell Signing of the Decade - Marius Game of the Decade - 3-2 comeback win vs Celtic Save of the Decade - Calder vs Mahe at parkhead Most Skilful Player of the Decade - Ross Tokely Goal Celebration of the Decade - who cares? Best Moment of the Decade - Promotion to the SPL
  17. I think our primary objective in the transfer window has to be to get the dead wood off the wage bill. Only then can we even think about building a new squad. Even if we dont get anybody in, at least we'll be back in the black come the next window.
  18. There's more chance of them going for Derek Adams.
  19. On a serious note, does anybody else think that Richie Foran could be a useful left back? Just a thought. :D
  20. ----------------------Calder--------------------------- McArthur--------Mann------Pavels---------Hastings ------------------------Cherry----------------------- Wilson---------------------------------------Sheerin ------------------------Sanchez---------------------- ----------------Ritchie------------Stewart------------ FTW! :crazy03:
  21. You could always try...
  22. Exactly the same team that started against Raith.
