Proctor Coming Home
I see Brew's actions as positive so far. My perspective on all this ? He made a mistake and learned something from it. But it's in the past and nobody's perfect so can we now please stop sniping at him and get on with it. He deserves a hearty second chance. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. If it were to happen again we should be ready for it but I think that the only way Brewster is determined to leave ICT this time around is feet first. C'mon Caley Thistle....AND Brewster. :022:

BREWSTER AND NICULAE
I listened to the commentary today. Is Niculae deferring to Brewster because he is scared to overshadow him or scared to try to dominate in case Brew gets the wrong impression? And if his subbing was merited do you think this may be the salutary shock to Niculae that he might need ...i.e... it is time to get fitter, more "hungry," more direct and more pacy and relentless? In other words, man this is NOT Romania but the cauldron of Scottish fitba and you had better realise that only effort and not so-called reputations count in Brew's world of work? International class?--maybe, but this baptism of fire must be quite a shock to him especially if he gets that sad scary feeling that a man over 40 is upstaging him and life is real but not guaranteed by any means. And at Parhead he may find out what it takes to be noticed by the top teams of which he aspires to be part. An how on earth can he allegedly be so unfit at this stage? Hmmmmm-just asking? :024: Comments?

Is That It?
Thoughtful post that last one. It's all window dressing right now with a touch of desperation about it what with Brew coming in at the backend and really not having the time to review matters thoroughly--at least I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt at this stage. Sorry to say this but it does seem as if the Board thinks that if they do nothing the fans will lambast them and if they do "something" good or bad at least they can say they are trying. I think it is a little too late. :029: Anybody disagree? So it's Watt as centre half then?

Team for Hibs Game
And you included McAllister to be nice or are you fancying him as a better bet than recently?--Only two U21's are required are they not? :rolleyes02:

Zander/Zander on loan to Elgin (Merged)
Good post Caley D.--sensible. Pimpillish, like....... :023: :004:

Zbigniew Malkowski
Dunno what happened to the last post--clicked the post buttn and it never registered. Then just disappeared??? Anyways, McNeill of the Hibs is far from being a dynamic and reliable goalkeeper so who are the Hibs going to use now? Have they got another name onside? I doubt if they would have released Malkowski if they rated him highly. However, if he has innate ability maybe a bit more encouragement is what is needed and some TLC. I am sure Brewster will give him that and a nice cup of tea; and Malky will think.."Hmmm, that was a nice brew".... :003:

Zander/Zander on loan to Elgin (Merged)
Arrrgh! --scooped. Agent Orange of the the Pimpernel organisation has had this news hours ago but spent too much time drinking tea with his early-morning biscuit. :018: For you Scotty it must be work starting time but for me it is "getting up at 4.30 a.m. to get a cuppa due to restlesss sleeping night" syndrome. Anyway have a nice day. By the way, does anyone on here know whether the Hibs versus ICT match tomorrow is being broadcast online to overseas listeners.? No mention of that fact on the list of online match commentaries currently being displayed on the Sportsound website. :021:

Support the Board
IHE YES!!!! It's the squirrel back. Must be him for sure... Currently my eyes are glazing over wiv "ennui". Shoot, when the squirrel was about with his plethora of pedantic pontifications life was hardly tejious? :015: If it is not him perhaps if we continue to call him in from the cold he will again impress his imposing presence on our scene. As for Sofia..see, IHE, I told you she was bright as a button and buzzed like a bee.! :002: She is by far too bright for me, being only a poor plagiaristic penurious Pimple with no particular bent with words in the plyance of my trade. The only sad thing for me is that many a time and oft in the forum of friendliness I doth not understand all of which she writes. :003: And Chas--thank you for reminding me with your gentle humour of my advancing age--you are awful , but I like you ! LOL Truth is I am so old that only Jock watt is older than the Pimple and I do remember getting in to Telford Street a looonnnnnggg time ago for sixpence.

ICT V Arbroath - matchday thread
If you still can't find it try scrolling upwards--I found my Player was hidden down below. Thank you for that man showing this goal..manna tae ma heart since I attended at Bayview, Methil, for many years every other Saturday to see the Fifers. Once a team who were by far the best in Scotland, if not all of the U.K.--if you don't believe me check out their very interesting web-site. From rags to riches and back to modest clothing again. It was quite a success story and a ride.

HEAVY HANDED STREWARDING FOR A CHANGE
East Fife won against St Mirren. They have a good team bejabbers. Also few of you probably know that in years gone by East Fife were top of the Pops in Scotland so much so that they were in great demand for friendly games all over the place especially England. When too many games took too much out of the team the performance started to decline thereafter but in their heyday at Methil they were apparently a very strong and great team. Won the Scottish Cup and League etc. Inquisitor--Scarlet you only read that on their web site because you watched them for many years at Bayview when you stayed in Bowling Green Street ,Methil, as a youngster after you came back from RAF National Service. Scarlet--so what? I saw some terrific games there. One of which was so full of ****-for-leather football that it still remains in my memory--Stenhousemuir as I recall. These of course were the days when five forwards flowed forward in unison, like a rugby team and it was a beautiful sight --pass on pass and ....GOALLLLLLL!My Dad who accompanied me to the game said later that he had never seen his son so animated. Hi Dad--still waters run deep ....eh? :016:

The bad news confirmed
The Long Man ...posts ---13 Scotty................ posts----3,491 Case rests.. :018: Long Man if you want to attack the Administrator(s) just mull over this:- Scotty and Caley D have put hundreds, maybe thousands, of hours into setting up, modifying and controlling this website to allow YOU the privilege of commenting in an open public forum. And they do not get paid for this, so you are at liberty to desist and cease posting if you don't like it. But at least be respectful of others rights if you stay.! Indeed these two Admins are , in my opinion, possessed of as much knowledge and common sense as anybody on here and studying their posts going back for years may be a formidable task for you but would be time well invested and well worth while in terms of your learning curve. And don't forget they have just as much right to their opinion as you but significantly they don't end up attacking you in the same vein as you have commented upon their posts. That's it--I will stop whilst I'm ahead and still cool. :33:

WHOOPEEE!!! BREWSTER'S COMING BACK
The Management refs have blown the whistle and they are not going back on this appointment. Believe it Also Brewster has as much to lose as ICT in this new love affair. So, believe it or not (LOL) I fully agree with Buckett's views. Time to get with the programme friends otherwise our beloved Caley Thistle will not benefit from a continuance of this sniping and ill-feeling . Good luck Brewster and ICT. I think he should play against Arbroath and strut his stuff. :rolleyes02:
