  1. I would say that Meekings is first choice but for as long as he is out and McNaughton is playing well he wouldn't be guaranteed to walk back into the side. Only criticism I have of McNaughton to date is that his passing is a wee bit poor out of defence but his reading of the game is superb and at 33 he is by no means done. Could be a very shrewd signing indeed. Delighted to have him.
  2. Any idea idea a simple print your own ticket at home would be to implement? I guess it would need to generate some kind of unique barcode which could be scanned at the turnstile?
  3. Yes but you can also buy your tickets online and have them posted to you (ICT do this to be fair), collect them from a fast ticket machine, buy them online and get them at a fast ticket machine or buy them online and print them off at home. I know the club aren't flush with money but maybe they could look at one of those options to help out supporters? People want things made as easy as possible for them so small hindrance or not a number of folk will be put off by this.
  4. Why do people think we need to strengthen the CB area? Meekings and Warren are first choice and we have others who can play there. Anyone who does sign will just be back up and we can't afford to have dead money for players who aren't realistically going to be starting when other areas of the team are more likely to be a priority.
  5. So home and away fans will be in the same queue for card payments?
  6. Sneckboy was John Hughes.
  7. Fans of both Partick and Killie simply shrugged their shoulders when he left. A talented player no doubt but more often than not he was lazy and ineffective, seldom showing what he was capable of. That's why he was let go by both those sides. I wouldn't have minded signing the guy but he would have to seriously up his effort levels.
  8. Weird. The still above doesn't look like it's over the line but the video clearly shows that the ball was well over the line. Fair play to the linesman who was well on his way back to the halfway line before most ICT players even started claiming. Thought we looked tidy enough for the most part. Defence seemed relatively untroubled although Tremarco looks like he was caught ball watching a bit for their goal. McNaughton breezed through the game but his distribution was a wee bit suspect at times. Quite a few balls hit quite hard at their intended recipient which led to us losing possession. Mulraney (?) looked good. Reminded me of Hayes when he first signed for us. Pacey, decent cross on him and a wee bit of skill. Like the look of him. Hopefully when he and others are on the same wavelength the crosses will connect better than they did on Saturday. King didn't too much but it was good to see us play with two 'proper' wingers again. Boden had a few nice touches but I don't recall him really having any shots at goal. Didn't like Polworth wearing number 7. Just seemed weird.
  9. Yeah just had someone mention that to me as well. Oops!
  10. After whining about this again on Twitter I see my moaning has paid off and BT Sport have announced some more TV games. Our match v Celtic on 17th September has been moved to Sunday 18th September at 14:15 15:00.
  11. I'm not overly fussed about the shortening to ICTFC but I think the "Pride of the Highlands' is a bit cringey. It's good for winding up County fans but I hope we haven't actually used it on our club crest / shirts. I feel for topsixnextyear - I think he was the first person to really push these kinds of phrases on Twitter to rile Staggies. Had he somehow been able to copyright these phrases he could have earned a wee fortune.
  12. When his contract ends next summer a glorious reunion with the Scottish Cup Winners 2016/17 awaits.
  13. The Daily Mail is an utter embarrassment.
  14. Billy King has signed a six month extension with Hearts so once his loan with us ends he will not be out of contract.
  15. Isn't the court case due to call again in November? EDIT: Usual reminder about being careful about what folk say on here regarding this!
  16. Scott Burns of the Daily Express has said that Kallum Higginbotham is set to leave Killie and will sign for us. A talented player but more often than not quite frustrating to watch as he often can't be arsed. Will be interesting to see what Foran can do with him should he sign.
  17. Happy enough with that. Been a while since we had some wingers in the side so with King and Mulraney coming in to give us some width, something we desperately lacked at times last season, it's looking much more encouraging on the attacking side of things. Maybe we will not be as tough in the middle of the park as a result but hopefully we will see some entertaining games at the very least. I'd still like to see another forward come in, we just have Boden I think, and perhaps another attacking midfielder. Defensively we are pretty sound.
  18. We should all sing our favourite Charlotte Church song.
  19. Imagine we had merged with Clach as well? Inverness Caledonian Clachnacuddin Thistle Football Club has a ring to it.

    Brora v ICT

Looking forward to Mahonio starting a Foran out thread.
  21. Likewise I can't see the big deal about going to a friendly in Fraserburgh as if it's some kind of incredible achievement.
  22. Not a massive fan of the white collar on the home top but I still quite like it. Really quite like the simplicity of the away shirt. Is there a pattern on the back?
  23. They've sorted out the first two weekends and shockingly "Rangers" are being shown on Sky for the first two weeks. http://spfl.co.uk/news/article/first-batch-of-live-tv-games-confirmed/
  24. Unsurprisingly no. Sky and BT will be sorting out the English TV games before they even think about Scottish games. A relatively safe rule of thumb is that whoever one of Rangers or Celtic are playing away from home at the weekend will see their game moved for TV coverage.
  25. Bannigan was rumoured to be heading to Pittodrie. He was their main choice in January before they turned their attention to Tansey. I hope with this news that Bannigan has returned to Firhill that Aberdeen don't return for Greg. Any word on that contract that was meant to have been offered to him?
