  1. I agree that those players have done very well but when you look at the amount of youth players that get released from the two clubs that seems to be a small amount in my opinion.
  2. Why is Ian Black on your list Long Man, last I heard he was festering in the lower leagues.
  3. Best: Hayes, Meekings, Warren, McKay, Andy Shinnie, Draper, OTJ (the J stands for Judas) Worst: Tade, Gnapka, Eagle, Stratford Kind of think Roberts wasn't as bad as everyone made out considering how young he was. Considering he was playing regularly in the first team and he couldn't have been much older than some of our youth players (who I would have rather have seen on the pitch rather than a loanee).
  4. Whoever we do get should care about the club as a community, I feel that this is the only way we are going to grow. I feel we need to focus on bringing through our youngsters as well. I personally don't think either Highland team is doing this too well at the moment.
  5. Gary MacAllister was in Inverness last week, I know this because he had a curry in the Rajah. wonder why he was up here?
  6. Your loss lads, thanks for all you have done for the club.
  7. Compensation deal with the club agreed so Terry and Mo are free to speak to Hibs. I hope we get a lot of money for this inconveniance.
  8. I think he should wear that peaked country gentleman's hat all the time, regardless of whether he stays or leaves.
  9. I appreciate that KingBeastie but think back to when Butcher took over, I would hazard a guess that some people in our support didn't like him for various reasons (previous clubs, poor track record at other clubs etc). He seemed to change a lot of people's minds.
  10. I'm not even entertaining the thought of anyone who has been ICT manager before taking the job again. Of the obvious candidates it has to be Kenny Sheils for me. He comes across a very hands on manager who seems to thrive at a small club. Does anyone remember hearing of him going around pubs in Kilmarnock trying to get people to buy season tickets or going over to talk to Killie fans who had travelled up to Inverness? These are the sort of things that I feel can help grow our support. His entertaining style of football would also be vital. I have spoken to many people who complained about the football on offer from previous managers. Also lets not forget that he has won the league cup before, coul'd be valuable for us in the next few months.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i28UEoLXVFQ This works for both us now and Butcher in a few months.
  12. Gutted. I can not see the rationale behind this move (assuming it is confirmed). Despite this I want to thank the departing management team for everything. They have helped the club be taken more seriously in Scottish football and given us fans some days we couldn't have dreamed of before. I just hope a new manager can carry on his work.
  13. Didn't Robbo bomb at East Fife? also after the mess Brewster made is there not something to be said for not taking managers back?
  14. I know football operates in a different reality to the real world but I can't see why he would leave a stable job in an area he loves to go to a club with chronic problems. I really hope he stays because I don't think the job of growing the club is done yet.
  15. Nah, too much of a gamble...... Wouldn't want him back. We don't need boys like him in our changing room.
  16. When the Yankees team threw the World Series in the 1920s they were given a lifetime ban. Ian Black probably deserves the same if he is guilty of this.
  17. The season we were relegated did we not go top after beating Aberdeen only for Hamilton to go top the following Monday?
  18. I should be a bit more available this year. I am living in Inverness for the foreseeable future and done studying (anyone want to give me a job?) I am more than happy to do previews and the odd report where I can. I am better at the previews though.
  19. The league names make our set-up look like a Scottish tribute act. We should try and be the best SPFL we can be not try and be a second rate England. No imagination whatsoever.
  20. I like the early rounds against lower league opposition. We always seem to draw Celtic or Rangers when they existed.
  21. The thing that worries me about Longmuir is his desire to have Old Firm Colts in the Lower Leagues. Terrible patronising idea.
  22. If the rumours going around about bonuses are true then it is utterly shameful. That is enough to keep a Highland League club running for a year. Its a bit disgusting when some of our biggest clubs in Scotland are in administration and would bite your hand off for that money.
  23. At least top six and to do well in the cups. Europe would be great too.
  24. Do the likes of Graeme Stack have a club? Certainly no stranger to the SPL.
  25. I don't have concerns about the Highland Leagues teams making the step up. We have a wealth of talented players and well run teams in this division. Someone has pointed out their concern about the calibre of teams in the lowland league. What sort of quality will be on offer here? I would love to see the likes of Wick in the SFL out of sheer spite to those who moan about teams north of Perth being involved.
