  1. Introducing terracing does us more harm than good I believe, someone more in the know will confirm what that means but I think we’re currently listed as a gold stadium? but if we introduce a terrace we become silver? Or something similar. I don’t think you should be concerned with not getting all season ticket holders in…. A new sponsorship deal coming in related to the new Hydro scheme at Loch Ness
  2. do you really think that given the current financial status of the club (which is about to dramatically improve) we would waste money on increasing the capacity of the stadium when we haven't filled it since..... the first game back at caley park?
  3. i have had a look in most locations but finding some good quality pictures of players during that time is rather hard. The seasons in questions are the season we first went up (clyde away beating st johnstone 3-1 at home) and our first in the SPL, Juanjo summersault amongst other moments stand out - both shirts i have are home so ideally looking for pictures of players in that (thus ruling out Brian Prunty's equaliser at Ibrox!)
  4. I'd like to hear the current situation regarding McHattie and Toshney as so far I haven't heard much other than they were injured before the season started. Unless someone is leaving I can't imagine us taking in anymore.
  5. I’m looking to get a couple of shirts framed from the above seasons. As such, I’m looking to get some accompanying photos of some key moment in both season. Having googled, it’s a struggle to find some high definition pictures and the caleyjags.com photos from that era appear to be more fan based. Does anyone have any photos they could share from that era? For confirmation this is the season we won the first division (for the first time) and our first season in the SPL. As it’s home shirts I’m going to get framed moments in those shirts would be ideal!
  6. I’m told Welsh will be the club captain with Doran continuing as vice
  7. I wish Carl well but not his club. Very surprised he got a move to the SPL but I suppose county have the luxury of paying players a good wage (probably similar to his wages with us) when they aren’t key players. In my opinion Carl was our fourth best defender last year and won’t be a great loss on the field. However, I think he will be a massive loss off it.
  8. This home kit is quite similar to the design we are having next season.... If I remember rightly, the colour scheme on the away kit here is what we will have next season too.
  9. Chick Young is in the Carse where the new stadium was planned - between the trainline and where the existing industrial estate is.
  10. Although I agree, the 'community' approach and running of the club leaves a lot to be desired.
  11. Amazing how you are willing to write off a young player based on 7 months out with an injury (and setback) despite not knowing how good he may be or cost the club. Too many of our fans appear to think we will always be able to get better players when in reality, i'm amazed we have signed some of the players we have within the wage structure in place.
  12. 100% our support was fantastic. Speaking to the victim (or their father) tells one side of a story - the side of the story they want you to know, or perhaps the side of the story they want to tell their father. I wouldnt say these incidents have overshadowed our support at all. From what I have heard directly from the victim immediately after the event one young Inverness fan was headbutted in the Mallard and the offender was arrested immediately. During the game I witnessed one smoke bomb thrown on the pitch from the home support and also witnessed police and stewards remove at least one home fan. On that evidence Ross County’s support has embarrassed themselves not ours.
  13. My point is this was in a pub outside of the ground and until proven otherwise has nothing to do with the club or its fans? ‘Likely’ isn’t fact and as I mentioned this isn’t solid fact because it is written on Twitter. Agreed. As far as I’ve heard and witnessed our support was incredible inside and outside the ground.
  14. Should this not be moved to the rumour mill?
  15. Why hasn't communication improved between the fans and the board? Why is the local press being used as our medium of communication instead of club social media which has previously been applauded? A list of objectives was given at the begining of last season, how do the board feel they are lining up against these objectives and what is being done to improve the clubs standing in the comunity? Why was the recent community day sponsored so poorly publicised by the club with short notice? Why did we not send any boardroom representation to our pre-season friendly against Keith?
  16. If by the age of 17-18 you are not in or around the first team I wouldn't expect any player to 'make it' with us. Don't understand the issue here, by the U18's league the next natural step should be first team football - why add another step into that needlessly?
  17. Not to mention asking to be subbed off against Falkirk last year because he was too cold....
  18. The same Jason Brown we released last summer having made 1 appearance for the club?
  19. Even more interesting for me would be what kind of analysis was undertaken by the board regarding this and what the action plan was to try and change it.
  20. Appreciate that there isn't a more suitable alternative date available , but one days notice and one days less rest for the biggest two games of our season thus far is a bit farcical. Potentially drastic, but if we need to get the game played the fixture should be reversed.....
  21. The club has embarrassed themselves with this, apparently they were handed this as they walked into the ground..... superb welcome. Would be interesting to know what the target group for these was.... Like it or not, these fans are the future of our club and need to be encouraged (within the rules) to continue to back the team - yes misbehavior needs to be managed, but issuing a 'scare' to people who so far this season have sat and watched the game in the same manner as everyone else is ridiculous. Worth pointing out to the chairman that at the Irn-Bru Cup final and the Scottish Cup final the main celebrations from the players was towards those creating the atmosphere - these people cannot be ignored and need to be actively encouraged to attend game and continue to support the team. Already I have noticed that various younger members of the group are now attending Nairn games and trying to bring an atmosphere there which I think says a lot about the welcome they have received from Inverness. It may well be too late to recover the relationship with these fans, but those who are still disgruntled need to be addressed as a priority. The current board have discussed their priorities as 'improved communication and collaboration with you the fans our most important and valuable asset' but quite frankly I haven't experienced such a poor relationship between the board and fans since the Mike Smith era. A few of my favorite quotes from our chairman are as follows from his message on the 24th of August. 'I recorded more than 25 subjects for us to follow up and we will get back to you with a list of action points and timescales for delivering them' 'These are all valid issues which we intend to tackle in a priority and managed way' 'It is easy to talk the talk. We have a lot to do to win back your trust by setting out our action plan and delivering this will see us walk the walk' I'll let you decide if these have been followed through... Am I right in thinking that all clubs have a Supporters Liasion Officer? Does anybody know this persons remit? I would expect that they should be managing this situation far closer that they appear to be and Liase a lot closer with the current board and the fans who have been disgruntled since day one of this regime. The fact that this person is so far unknown is laughable and points out that they are clearly failing in this role. 'Don't be drunk in our ground but our bar is open early tomorrow for you'
  22. Another instance of the club trying to distance themselves from the fans, bravo.
  23. Not strictly the correct place for this, but how would one go about buying shares in the club?
  24. Where has anyone seen anything official that Rory is on trial?
  25. I can't see evidence that this was Inverness or Elgin fans fighting?
