if Tel can't find anyone better I'd be more than happy to have him back at the club
-
Pedro Moutinho
best rumour so far I'd have him in the team... he'd be perfect for playing in behind Rooney

MacPherson leaves St Mirren
Bit of a joke tbh. MacPherson's done brilliantly by them and deserved more backing from the board after the Tesco money... which instead will probably be offered to some new manager

What's our worth?
depends entirely on how hyped a player is and how strong the board are when negotiating a fee. Problem with ICT at the moment is the longest contract offered to anyone is 2 years and unless sold now the value of that player is almost halfed by the end of next season and clubs around Scotland would prefer to wait. For example, Hayes, our prized asset at the moment, if he has the sort of season we all hope he is cabale of (and what his potential suggests) then the club can be blackmailed into selling him then at a minimal fee or losing him for nothing the year after. Hayes if sold now should be worth at least ?400k but we'd settle for 150k and probably will sell next season for ?100k OQ, If we were to sell our whole squad now we'd get the equivelant of ?1 for every hit the REAL Leigh Griffith's blogs had

did butcher make a mistake?
As posted earlier, we played much better football without him, won the league and managed to get a reasonable fee for his services.... good move for everyone involved. I've got nothing against Imrie, he's an impulsive player but didn't produce enough for us because of inconsistency and injury. He also doesn't have a natural position and is somewhere between a striker and a winger... I don't think Tel or Brewster could find the position that could get the best out of him Hamilton, Billy Reid & Imrie is a good combination... hopefully he isn't as effective against us next season. Saying all that does anyone know if we ever lined up: Hayes Imrie Foran Rooney Can't remember it but might of worked.

SPL u21 rule
wasn't sure where to post this because it's not specific to ICT although it's going to affect us next season wtf are the benefits of having an under 21 ruling that demands we have a certain number of players under this age in a squad??? do players suddenly stop developing when they reach that age?? I can understand why the SPL implemented this and it was probably with the best of intentions but really all they've accomplished is an increase to unemployment figures for players aged 22.

6 players let go
I can understand all the others being released but I thought Bully had plenty to offer the club, bit disappointed to be honest I think someone mentioned it earlier but I imagine Butcher has one eye on the u21 rule* *fecking terrible/ridiculous rule

14 Team SPL
why limit the pool of players in the league?? More teams means a greater variety of players, managers opinions/tactics etc.

14 Team SPL
Agree, Would love a 16 team SPL

Europa Cup Final
Hodgson for Prime Minister.... That has to be the best managerial achievement since.... well... Butcher got us promoted back to the SPL!! ... but seriously he inherited a very average decaying Fulham squad and by signing a group of players that were all bench warmers at their previous clubs he's got them playing some excellent football and taking on Europe's elite. I was glad to see Liverpool out because I think they would have beat Fulham in the final but I think it's fair game now Athletico are through.

14 Team SPL
Less league games = less revenue . not necessarily.. I doubt season ticket prices will drop by that much and fewer games makes points from games vital which could see an increase in attendances. I don't know how everyone else feels but because I travel from Glasgow I am more tempted to go to a match if I haven't already seen the opponent play against us.. so with an additional 2 teams in the league that makes me more likely to turn up for another 2 games over the season.

Pitch Invasion Repercussions
bet you're a 5hit dad That's a really well thought out and intellectual response Mr Chibber! That's all his rant deserves. If he/she was such an intellectual he/she/it wouldn't be coming on an internet forum throwing round insults when it wasn't at the game to witness the situation and emotions that were experienced. There is an exeption to every rule.

Thought you were gay anyway ? he pretends to be gay to disguise the fact he really is gay- Pitch Invasion Repercussions
From speaking to Jimmy Falconer yesterday I believe this to be correct and ICT are bracing themselves for a fine. More pitch invasions this Saturday and the powers that be are likely to be throwing the book at them. So don't do it. Police and stewards in Inverness are likely to be more prepared than their counterparts in Ayr were. If fans do come onto the pitch they will probably grab some of them who could easily find themselves ejected from the stadium (at best) and possibly banned from returning. Even if they don't get a hold of you straight away, there will be photos galore of the offenders all over the web and the club might act later. Maybe you think I'm scare-mongering but this advice comes from years working with the Supporters Trust and seeing the difficulties fans get into when they either break the law of the land or the rules that apply to football stadia. In some cases, they have been put through absolute hell. Don't let it happen to you on what should be such a great day. So an organised 'pitch invasion' then?? I think everyone realisies the militance of the stewards at TCS so no one will be looking to jump the walls before full time, it was a reaction to the circumstances at the time when we were at Ayr.... yes there were chants of storming the pitch but that was in reference to after the match not during it... - Signing News!
