Definitely agree with Hayes & Rooney, both are young and it's more of an investment than a gamble... I don't know how we can ever expect to receive a decent transfer fee with a piddly 2 year contract in place Esson is a bit older so can understand 2 year deal for him.

How many Scottish players have been happy and successful in Europe since the likes of Lambert, Collins and Brewster about 10 years ago? All Scottish players are in Europe but don't know if you could count any as successful

all makes sense now "Danny Lennon from Cowdenbeath as their new manager" I couldn't have guessed that appointment if I was given 10 attempts. Seems strange that they would get rid of someone with proven SPL experience for someone that has succeeded at 2 divisions below.... hopefully he has the same positive affect as Barrowman did for us.

I've entered an ICT 5-a-side team for PnB's annual tournament on the 12th of June It's actually 2 ICT fans, 2 Celtic, 1 Dundee & 1 Ger but it's my team so we'll take the credit :) ... should have been 3 ICT fans but the knowledge bottled it. Don't know if anyone else from this site has entered but should be a good occasion with the USA game on later that day. I'll let you know how we get on (I'm sure you'll all be dying to hear) :)

I realise that in these sad circumstances, this may not be the place to start an argument, but that remark, no doubt made by someone who knows absolutely nothing about the circumstances, is stupid in the extreme. I'm sorry but you also know nothing of what happened so your comment is just as 'stupid'. I hope they tried everything but that article doesn't provide any clarity on the situation and sounds completely barbaric. He was left to freeze, blind, scared, alone and alive on Mount Everest and not one quote to suggest he wanted to be left there. I hope for Peter's sake that the situation was as ammicable as CMIB suggests but I can't help but think how horrible that his death must have been. RIP..
