I highly doubt he would have paid to get in either. The money I saved by not going to that game yesterday is going towards my season ticket.

Right, here's my take on events. I placed money on county to win today. 6-1 seemed like good odds. I watched the game in town (Edinburgh) in walkabout wearing a caley top. I then went out with a pal and one of his mates tonght to a gig - Charlie and the bhoys. Needless to say, and I won't have to explain, it was a celtic fc fest. Now, I'll make it clear, I didn't buy a ticket for this. I was paid in by aforementioned friend (who is a hibbee for the record). Moment of the night? Going outside for a smoke. 3 Celtic fans are chatting. I end up listening in to their conversation. Line of conversation? "I fu*king hate that supercaleygoballistic headline, I really fu*king hate it". Smugly, wearing my ICT top (under a fleece I'll hasten to add) went back inside. After about 10 minutes, I couldn't really take anymore and left the venue with my mate. The same punters were still outside. Needless to say, I couldn't resist unzipping my fleece for the perfect GIRFUY moment at them. My point is, no matter what county do from now on, they will be forever in our shadow. They will be forever the wee team in the Highlands. They will, no matter what anyone says, be a mere feeder club to us. The infamous, great, ICTFC.

The bookies are giving stupid prices on County. Don't listen to their fans - they've just hung up as they're the Wee Team. The main purpose of their existence today is to serve us as a feeder club. I'm hoping we get a pop at them next season in the cup.

They're not really our rivals jaggie1994 - they're our feeder club. I see the infirm and livi more as rivals. Don't ask why - just my feelings toward these clubs.

Any info regarding season ticket prices yet? Aberdeen and Hibs have announced season ticket prices according to posters on P&B SPL threads. Wonder if the club might do a top+ticket deal.

My money (10 quid to be precise) is on the Netherlands. On this basis, I will be supporting the Netherlands and hoping they win. I got 14-1 on them winning the world cup but I've noticed the odds are shortening.

If we go on a good run - which I think we will - Hayes et al will of course attract attention. It's a bit of a win/lose situation. If clubs were barred from trading players once the season had started, things would be a lot different. I seriously think we'll be top six this season.

I bear no grudge against Falkirk. Our woeful, long-ball football under brewster and the loss of Dods was a massive part in our downfall. Falkirk battled through that season and held it together post-split. Falkirk is a decent day out too. Cheap pubs and free taxis back to Edinburgh courtesy of Scotrail IIRC...
