Yogi's Contract
Uh oh. Yogi is being linked with other clubs. http://m.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/34396366 I genuinely feel sorry for him. After the fabulous success of last season, losing quality players from throughout the side must be tough for him. It has certainly been tough for us fans. Surely we must have got a wee bit of extra money from the cup final win and finishing 3rd? Could more money be made available for him to sign more players? What's happening? More importantly, can we get him signed up on a long term deal? It would give him and our club more stability to build for the future and continue to progress. Stability is key.

Yogi's Contract
Can't argue with Yogi's record with us. 3rd in the league and Scottish Cup champions. I'm eating humble pie.

Ryan Christie
To be fair to the guy he hasn't signed for Celtic to stay with us any longer than he has to. He'll want to get into the Celtic first team and there's no reason why he can't. I genuinely think he's too good for Celtic. He's 2 passes ahead of everyone. I hope for the sake of the national side we see him join a true Champions League club.

Aberdeen's prices for their home round 1 tie: http://www.afc.co.uk/mobile/news/6364.php St Johnstone's prices for their home leg tie: http://www.perthstjohnstonefc.co.uk/newsitemsdetail.php?param=3650 Aberdeen's pricing structure is far more sensible. Why don't we offer concessions for people in FTE?

Astra Home Game
I'm going up for the home leg of the tie but can't afford the away leg. Hopefully we'll do well in the home leg so the tie is still winnable for everyone going to the away leg.

Nick Ross signs for Dundee
considering John Hughes bases his tactical approach on retaining the ball and passing it about, it seems a bit strange we've let the best passer we had on the books go. I hope we'll see Nick back at the club in the future.

Nick Ross signs for Dundee
Great signing for the Dees. Hartley is making some shrewd signings. I fully expect them to finish in the top six next season.

ICT in Europe
Unlike the one in Armenia St Johnstone are going to! This stadium reminds me of glascarnoch dam.

And the club will be €5m richer after the final in Basel next year... Maybe we could buy the Shinnie brothers back.

Contract Situation
Ross, IMHO, is the best passer of the ball we have. I find it bizarre he hasn't featured more over the past season. If he leaves I'll be very disappointed.

Any news on Watkins?
If it was all about the money he would have cashed in on that Polish club that were after him. He's always said he wanted to get into Wales, and he'll be playing alongside a Welsh international in Nyatanga and a club that's pushing for promotion to the Championship. Seems like a shrewd move to me. The SPL is, and for the foreseeable future always will be, a one-horse race. There is no way that Aberdeen will challenge Celtic - they didn't even get a point against them. Spot on. Peter Lawwell knew exactly how much celtic had to spend to win the one horse race. Even with Shinnie and other quality signings next season there's no chance Aberdeen will be able to win the league. Sad to see Marley leave but I'm so glad our side won't have to face him next season.

Where would you like to go on your first caley away in Europe? I'd love to go to Copenhagen - went last February - would love to go back in July.

Ian Vigurs
He is a good footballer, but we don't need him. I'd like to see us bring in another striker and left wing back.

You raise two very important issues here Deano. In the case of Rangers and Celtic fans, Inverness is no different from other communities outwith Glasgow where they also proliferate. In Inverness, I believe there are two main reasons for this. Firstly, and this is a factor which applies across Scotland, Glasgow's toxic religious and political mix has, over many years, created two opposing sectors in society down there and these two football clubs have become conspicuous features of that divide. This has given these clubs sufficient critical mass for them to act as footballing black holes which drag in additional support from areas a long way away from Glasgow. The whole of Scottish football suffers from this. The second issue in Inverness is that until just a decade or so ago, the place didn't possess a major force in football. As a result, a lot of people could have their "big" team - usually the OF but possibly Aberdeen etc as well - and also their "wee" team, in other words lower league ICT or before that Jags or Caley. These could comfortably coexist. However now that ICT is also a "big" team some fans have had to make a choice and some of these have remained with their OF preferences. Hundreds of Invernessians regularly disappear down the road to Celtic Park and Ibrox, but I do believe that, as time has passed and ICT have become more successful, this unfortunate trend has already begun to dwindle. Evidence is largely anecdotal, but I think OF support in Inverness (especially Rangers for obvious reasons) is on the wane. Regarding the second issue of lower home gates now than several years ago, this is largely part of something that is happening across Scottish football, it's not just ICT. Football attendances do go in cycles and there are probably several reasons for the current downturn. I would include silly kick off times, unavoidably high prices, lack of personal funds after the recession began and competition from a range of non-football activities. So although ICT's success has provided motivation for more to attend, it has been difficult even to stand still against these other negative factors. Another key problem is the growth in support for English Premiership and European sides - especially with children. The club has done a power of work in this regard. I'm unsure about the short-term benefits, but I think going down the route of giving U16s free season books would be of benefit in the long term.

Are you a betting person ?
A young Barry Robson, middle left? Here's hoping we do see more youth players break through into the first team.
