  1. Sold out last Monday I'm afraid Proctor.
  2. REGUERO I will give him MOM. He could have been shaky after the end of Well game but he didnt feckin show it. Cellics shooting gave him a helping hand but he also made 2-3 great saves although he does love to showboat. But to me it was his energy that impressed me and he always looked to play a quick, simple ball. RAVEN An example of consistency and confidence personified. WARREN Thought that he was also immense. Played in the role of a more traditional center half but won everything. MEEKINGS Played his part, allowed Warren to take the lead, but a fine supporting role. G.SHINNIE Evidently told to think more about the defensive side of his game. Not as attack minded as usual but a lot more effective as a full back. ROBERTS He could quite a bit of stick and i bet many would have preferred him to be warming the bench when he put in a glorious cross for the winner. He is far from the finished article and I still dont think he is comfortable playing wide but - how may times was he the "out" choice for the others ? - how many times did he hug the touch line and actually take people on ? - How many times did he plough a lonely furrow and ate up the seconds ? Shure he fecked it up as much as he succeeded but his mere pace shook that Cellic defence and they ended up double marking him at times. FORAN Captain fantastic again. He always gives that type of performance when he is in the feckin middle of it when we have our backs to the walls. Puts Brown in to the shade. OTJ Looked far more comfortable beside Foran who did all the dirty work and allowed OTJ some space and time and the opportunity to sneak forward. DORAN A bit like Roberts to me although he looks far more comfortable on the ball and gave Cellic the willies when he drifted inside. But what a feckin miss MCKAY Great shift which probably went unnoticed to many but he is a natural goalscorer and should have added to his tally. Again the Cellic central defenders found him a handful because of his constant movement and he was played on the feckin shoulder of the last defender instead of being a nullified target. Had to copy and paste as it wouldn't let me quote but did no-one else find it remarkable we beat Septic with ten men??
  3. http://www.bbc.co.uk...otball/20149350 Clearly Kris Commons undervalued the Caley Thistle challenge.......
  4. Off topic but was laughing at TSNY's comment, Mr CaleyJag and I are getting married in Spetember but I planned it for an international weekend!
  5. Yep MrCaleyjag and I will be there, its the nearest to a game we'll get apart from Pittodrie.
  6. 4-0!!!!!
  7. Whereas the ICT facebook and Twitter page have both been updated tonight to advertise the tickets now on sale.
  8. He was subbed just after half time yesterday. More interestingly, Di Canio also subbed the goalie after 20 odd minutes as he felt he was at error for the first Preston goal. The goalie went off, kicking a water bottle (a la Lennon) and watched the rest of the game from the stand. Di Canio later called him the worst professional he'd ever seen. In true Di Canio style, they made up today!
  9. I also have a £10 bet on with a work colleague that Aberdeen won't finish in the top six. I agree that's they've possibly made the best summer signings but, like ourselves (in my opinion) are missing a striker who will score them 20+ goals which I think they'll need. In terms of other teams, did anyone watch the Dundee Utd Hibs game today? Hibs were dreadful!
  10. Richie Foran not playing?
  11. Finished 2 all but would think Utd will be in trouble with UEFA.
  12. As it stands United are 2-1 up but the BBC are saying there was crowd trouble in Tannadice.
  13. The close up makes the player look like he has a pot belly, what will it do to those of us who actually do?! Not impressed I'm afraid.
  14. Don't know about anyone else but it will be nice to see some Scottish football this weekend instead of just discussing it. Anyone else planning on going? MrCaleyJag and I will be there.
  15. Sky Sports News are reporting just now that Doncaster's proposal to the SFL chairmen re NewCo being put into the 1st Division was 'badly received'.
  16. STV report said he found it an easy decision! Like many others very very disappointed by his decision, the fans in this city seem to believe they are still a big gun in Scottish football, the sooner they realise they're not, the better.
  17. Johnny has put on his twitter he is not going to Aberdeen but his agent was talking to them
  18. Having read Saturday's papers I couldn't believe how many 'pundits' were backing Hibs! I don't know whether the Rangers business has overshadowed actual games this season but there seems to have been a complete disregard for the fact that Hibs only survived relegation due to a truly dreadful Dunfermline team. I always thought Hearts were going to win.
  19. Proctor has tweeted that he has left, 'not the way he wanted it to end'.
  20. I see that Ross Forbes has been released by Motherwell, a potential for us?
  21. Yeah Scotty that was me! Been on the site 4 or 5 times today, very easy to use on a blackberry :)
  22. I've given this topic a lot of thought and one of the main highlights for me was our first ever promotion, on 05/04/97 guaranteed by a 3-2 win over Montrose in a absolute downpour in Inverness. An Iain Stewart hat-trick, followed by a 4-1 win over Albion Rovers. If you had told us then what we would go on to achieve............... Low points? Hard to look past our relegation - personally I watched it in a pub in Aberdeen with my friend as MrCaleyJag was at his brother's stag do - him phoning said friend to make sure I was ok being a strange memory of the day. Also have to agree with Yngwie when he mentioned the cup defeat to Celtic, as soon as Miller started his run you just knew he was going to score.
  23. Top credit to you, these are fantastic! Having not seen them for years it was great to remind ourselves of some good times :)
  24. Lets be fair, how many other clubs would have him and put up with that?
  25. Lennon on twitter: Referee told players he though Wanyama handled.......feel so sorry for players and fans......I think its personal myself Why on earth would you write that?! The SFA letter writers must be shaking their heads, knowing what the first job they have to do tomorrow morning is.............
