  1. Doesnt retaining Brewster and heading to the SFL make business sense ?
  2. Wow - ya are all getting so close to ma team of three months ago Can understand putting Proctor in at right back but Rosscoe saved his bacon last week - he is not a left back. So I would go fer Rosscoe - Duff - Munro - McBain - but I am sure that the Ayatollah will go fer no change although I dread that he will hook Hastings for Djebi Zadi. We simply HAVE to go fer 5 in the middle - ma first choice would be Cowie - Black - Duncan - Vigurs - Imrie - as per Hibs but with the wingers predominantly on their favoured foot. I would look to taking on Wilson on the hour and hooking whoever wasnt performing. I would even play Proctor in place of Cowie if he was out (wide right) - but if Black and Cowie are fecked I would go - Wilson -Proctor - Duncan - Vigurs - Imrie - and look at taking Zander on fer Bazza on the hour. Proctor is a good player - reckon he could be either a better right full back or a right sided midfielder. Rooney simply has to start - if he runs himself out I would replace with Wood (away from home) but I would also put somebody in a hole behind him - preferably Cowie - or even Imrie. The basic premise is not to lose an early goal so it has to be the Hibee "back to the wall" tactic again and hit on the break. If Brew plays Hastings or McBain or Wood from the start we are doomed. Duff, Vigurs and Rooney are the must do's And as Ralf Milne knows the Ayatollah is watching - and hopefully taking heed.
  3. I did advise against playing Rory so young - Brewster again - and he - like Wood - was really thrown into the deep end too soon - that really affected Rory's confidence. But the lads are the Brew choice (big boys) who he evidently thought / thinks that his support and direction will help them develop into top class players. Rory simply hasnt got the pace unfortunately but he will be a decent SFL player - Wood appears likewise and will probably also end up in the SFL. Rory and Wood are raw carbon copies of Brew - (but he had real movement and awareness) Brew has to start looking at youngsters with pace and movement.
  4. I could just fill in over the festive season as ? Messy Nessie
  5. Agreed, Brewster has his faults, as both you and I would probably acknowledge, but the constant nit-picking by some on here really is getting tedious (spelling?). You really are a tedious **** (spelling?)
  6. I will expand further but only slightly as my one word reply was given because if you actually read and dilute what was claimed in the original post above some of the content with all respect to the author is complete and utter crap, yes maybe you saw and heard what you say but if you actually ask yourself why then maybe just maybe you might think a bit more WHY ? Trust me on this chaps when it is suitable I will write some long posts and fill in some posters on some myths and rumours but not yet, oh and while I'm on why oh why don't you all just get behind everyone at ICT instead of bitching and moaning about a lot of bull You really are a total ersehole arent ya !! Brosnon aint a feckin stirrer but is a very honest individual with the club at heart - (double vodka Simon ) - the problem is that many of the less criticising supporters are losing their faith. You havent got the evidence or the feckin intellect to post a lengthy pro Brewster post - You are becoming a total feckin joke really. Anything you say will be ignored basically. Brew has every rite to bollick the players - that is the rite of a manager - but (listen carefully) - he has clearly lost the dressing room - he has clearly lost the respect of the senior players - he has lost the support of the majority of the fan base - he has had opportunities of redeeming himself in the press but he evidently is a self deluded individual. Only a matter of time - being perpetuated by the gutless management.
  7. Duncan is a "must" away from home - but behind Black and Vigurs. Black could well be the holding and ball player at home in the future - but Vigurs aint ready yet.
  8. Think I will just alter my signature in anticipation - not personally sure if it will be the rite combination but it is the cheap option - and it will be the pre Xmas and pre window "present" - and as always decided well before the event - Brew is on the way out.
  9. Great post - great feckin source.
  10. No we don't, just not everybody can be bothered to post the same stuff over and over again. In 4-5-1 wrong foot makes a lot of sense - better to have the threat of cutting inside than crossing to 1 amongst 4. Nobody likes 4-5-1 I am sure but that's a different point. Blame Sam Allardyce. And I don't remember anybody complaining about Barry Wilson playing on the left a few seasons ago. Without even thinking hard: - The first (and one of the best ever) goal scored in TCS. Barry cuts inside and curls it in from 35 yards. - Next season (I think), Barry destroys Dunfermline (again) playing on the left, basically creating all our chances. - Cup match v Celtic. Barry drives into the box, beats Pressley, passes to Bayne who scores. :thumb04: :018: ;) Well lets play everybody on the wrong foot fer 90 minutes!!!!
  11. What eejit got rid of Bayne or was he yet another stirrer who had got too big headed and too demanding ? I have got to say that Brew appears too have an acumen for spotting the rotten apples and chucking them out. Wonder if he has a two way feckin mirror.
  12. This is great fun - Ralf Milne is making such a Jack Shittt out of himself - He is clearly in love with the Brewster God. :thumb04: :018: How has Brewster fared since the split last season ? What is his record in respect of league matches ? Win / lose /draw ? How many goals have we scored and how many goals have we lost since the split last season ? Has he maintained the clear support of the players and the fans ? Oh - and how does that tie in with the demise of Savage and Niculae ? ;)
  13. Oh come on - Brew has to play Proctor - he cant be seen to drop Rosscoe - so he picks Duff as he can use the reasons of yoof, doesnt want to put him in too soon (like Rory) and save a few pennies. Duff deserves to play on merit - a word sadly lacking in our clubs dictionary.
  14. Well at least it has proved Brewster wrong yet again or will he be following inthe footsteps of Rory ?
  15. I fink that yesterday may have proved Mantis correct.
  16. An observation I also made at the game on Wednesday evening. When was the last time anybody checked the aquifer ?
  17. I was dumbstruck - NUFF said.
  18. I suppose so - but it is becoming more and more of a push to motivate maself.
  19. But - what is really irritating me - is that he is heading towards the team and the tactics that some of the more astute posters have been asking fer for months !! I can reveal that he reads your posts on a daily basis and thinks long and hard about them, maybe you're getting through, keep it up :thumb04: At last - you give me the respect that I deserve - it is only too evident that your words are true. Thank you.
  20. Xander is the only one I could think of that might offer something? Vigurs ?
  21. Where is M4TJ - yesteday in the second half it looked like somebody had tipped the feckin pitch towards the Main Stand - as nearly every fecker was withinn 10-15 yards of the feckin touch line. At times it was like watching a schoolboy game as they were all following the ball.
  22. Excellent point (**** me did I say that) - I have never seen a dead ball (corner) routine that you could say - that was a training ground routine !! And why doesnt anyone at least give the option of a short throw ? - at least taking two more peeple out of the box.
  23. But - what is really irritating me - is that he is heading towards the team and the tactics that some of the more astute posters have been asking fer for months !!
