Great piece of business and a great time to get it tied up. Been the pick of the summer signings so far.

I would be very open to Levein and Houston. His time as national manager was torrid without question but his SPL record, especially with United is fantastic. He built his United side on small time signings and youth players and while it was Houston that won the cup it was Leveins team. Levein in particular has a point to prove and if he is serious about getting his career back on track he should view this as a great opportunity to do so. He and Houston work well together and as Kenny Cameron said whoever comes in inherits a great team. I see no reason why they cant emmulate the success theyve had in the past with us. Out of other canditates he may be an old boot but Jimmy Calderwood has been a success in the past (albeit with a bit of cash). Led Dunfermline to a final and Europe while also leading Aberdeen to Europe and keeping them in the top 6 during his entire tenure. He wouldnt be popular I know, just saying if push came to shove I wouldnt mind him. A few folks have mentioned Gary McAllister. I was a huge fan of him as a kid and from what I heard he was given a raw deal during his last job at Leeds. No question that he would provide a wealth of experience. Willing to bet he would have some useful contacts down South too. Paul Hartley seems an exciting prospect as a manager. Has done a terrific job with Alloa and Im sure would be eager to get stuck into a top flight job. He would also be used to working with a small budget too. Given whats at steak this season I would prefer someone with experience in the top flight but if it came down to someone untested Hartley is the outstanding candidate. Loadsa names have been mentioned but those are the ones that really stand out for me.

Part of me wants to give Mo a chance that he probably deserves. The other part wants to see who all applies for the job...such a divide.

Im at a real crossroads over Mo. I really want to support him for being loyal but he has bombed in his own managerial jobs. If the board decided to give him a chance then I would support him though.

What a cracking day out that was! On the back of whats been an anxious, agonizing and frustrating week for us we traveled down in good numbers, sang our hearts out and let our team do their talking on the pitch. We raced into that lead with ease as Hibs ran out of ideas almost straight from kick off, despite a couple of shaky moments at the back from Brill. Doran, Watkins, Ross and Shinnie overpowered their backline with some fine passing and smart runs and for the first time in weeks they were all looking to play in Wild Bill who took his goal terrifically. The only disappointment was that we didnt add to the 2-0 lead in the 2nd half as we would have more than deserved it. Billy, Doran and Watkins all came close but some of the football played, particularly on the counter attack was the best Ive seen all season. Hibs Im sorry (not really) to say were pathetic. They are not a team on the pitch, no understanding and no confidence between them, which is not helped by their dismal crowd who turned on them completely after about 20 minutes. They made it so easy for us at times. Tel will have more than a re buidling job on his hands when he gets there, he will more or less have to teach most of them how to play football again but that is not my concern. Only concern for me was see how the boys would cope after the week thats been. Each of them went out there with a point to prove and they more than did that. Whoever comes in (though I feel Mo has a strong case) is inheriting a top group of players. Fans were top notch as said and that just added to the day. Bring on the new chapter!

He wont get the same time at Hibs. None of the previous 1000 have. As Lib says he has a major rebuilding job. Too many overrated and aged players in that team with the ultimate goal of getting back to where they were around a decade ago. Not that I wish him ill but I hope the club fall apart faster than an X factor contestant with a sob story...they really dont deserve him.

Gutted dosent describe it. These have been the best 5 years I've ever had as an ICT supporter. We became his club. He was supposed to see this through and he is off to basically start all over again. There was more history for him to make here but he has made his choice. A new chapter begins, I will be there for the start of it.

I don't want anyone back. If Terry goes then we need a clean slate and allow someone new the chance to come in and make their mark on the club. Need to get past old memories and look to the future.

Terry is killing his chances of salvaging anything at either end the longer he keeps this up. Im at the point now where I almost dont want him back (I know that sounds bitter) but Hibs are a rival club with the same aims and aspirations as ourselves in a league where there is never much distance between teams. If this was an English club it would be a different story. Different league, different mindset, different country. Deep down I just dont think his heart is in it anymore. I cant imagine what the week has been like for the players and the backroom staff. My only hope is Hibs are peddling out the same tripe theyve been displaying for weeks and we take them apart. The players will need the full backing of the fans, especially on Saturday. I imagine its been a difficult week for each and every one of us. If he does leave I will be gutted, I will be gutted to see a man depart at a crucial time in the season, after having worked tirelessly for the last 5 years in building this club into a real force. I will be gutted to see him head to a club where he will ultimately throw it all away chasing the same ghosts that Fenlon, Calderwood, Hughes and Paatelainen have been chasing. But what I will be gutted about most is we will never see how far Terry could have taken us. We still sit high in the league and we still have a cup semi final in February to get through. If Marsella and Malpas follow then we will have to re jig our entire way of doing business. A formula which has served us well. Especially in the last 2 seasons, the thought of that dosent bare thinking about. If he does stay Im not convinced he will have the same authority or respect from the fans though time would tell on that one. Things could go on like nothing happened. On the flip side if he does depart. Our high league position and cup status makes a really attractive outlet for any manager. I would expect a massive flurry of applications. While it will be frustrating it could also be a really exciting time for us as fans. At the moment all we can really do is put this hellish week behind us and get right behind the team that is put out against Easter Road on Saturday...regardless of whoevers in charge. Eddie Thompson said fans are the only constant in football. I think that statement means more now than it ever did. The ICT ride will continue! Lets do our bit to keep it going.

Im actually quite excited about this, regardless of what decision is made. Boys will need the fans full backing after this week. We owe it to them.

I dont want anyone returning for a 2nd spell short term or long term. It didnt work last time and with such a legacy being left behind it will require a clean slate and a fresh face.

Archie Knox applied for the job here when Brewster got the boot. Wonder if he will apply again. Will certainly have a number of contacts.

Paul Hartley I think might be worh a punt. Hes made a good climb with Alloa on a shoestring budget. I know he wouldnt be a popular choice but would Jimmy Calderwood be such a bad suggestion? He led Dunfermline to Europe and a final and Aberdeen had a good European run with him as well whilst also enjoying 4 consecutive top 6 finishes.

Was about to post the same story. Safe to say he is probably off. I wouldnt say Im devastated by it...but its pretty damn close to how Im feeling if it is true. I really thought Terry would be old and wise enough to see through the Hibs move. I really thought these past 2 years would have seen us push through the old problem of losing our managers to other clubs in this league. Hibs may not have contacted the club themselves but it seem like TB's mind is made up.

Another scrappy win but a win is a win. Killie dominated large chunks of the game but lacked any quality in the final third. We werent too sharp ourselves. Doran got the rub of the green with his shot taking a lucky deflection. Deano was equally fortunate that his defence were alert to the danger caused by his slack pass to Gardyne. Shinnies goal was well taken, linked up well with Foran and cut inside, striking a nice shot across Samson and into the bottom corner but we shouldve built on it. Killie never really threatened but they got their goal back from a set piece. Response was good as Williams saw his header come off the post. Game petered out and result was ours. Any game that see us with 3 points is top notch but we really seem to have lost our fluency. The slickness from previous game is not quite there. I know Shinnie got man of the match but for me Foran was the best player on the pitch today. Defensively he was excellent. Mopped up so much at the back and did everything he could to get attacks going. Ive questioned his passing ability at times but I couldnt fault him today, barely put a foot wrong and some the passes he picked out were top notch. Proper captains display.
