  1. Great stuff, well done ICT, another clean sheet, and were TOP OF THE TABLE!!! :D
  2. Good stuff, lets get this game in the bag now.
  3. Bad decision dropping Sanchez...this is an important game and he is a much more skillful player than Odhiambo.
  4. I hope they stick with Mowbray so that we can get a chance to trounce them next season.

Out of all the players on the pitch he is probably the only one who could take a corner. Does anyone else remember Sanchez's corner against Dundee on Boxing day? Thats how awful some of our set pieces were. The only other player i think that could take at least a decent corner is Duncan. He tends to take some of the free kicks for the halfway line so he may be able to put it into practice from a corner.
  6. Having spent a season in the 1st Division has reminded me of how much more exciting it can be. Last night saw us play some excellent football and also get excited about other games which were going on around us. I don't think in all honesty that we would be ready to go straight back up but i do think that if we did then Butcher would be the right man to do it. If we don't go up and Dundee do then i think if we can keep the spine of this team together then i think we would have a great chance at having a crack at it next year. I would love us to be champions but tbh i really wouldn't be that bothered about stayng in the division for another season or two.
  7. How did they beat Dundee??? But our boys were at there best tonight. The Irish trio once again terrorise a defence with Sanchez again contributing everything to a game...apart from a goal! Defensively sound, Would imagine thats how our back 4 will line up next season, should Bully go. Rosscoe was relatively solid as a central defender. Esson did well with a couple of iffy moments and Robertson made some splendid stops in the 2nd half. 13 games unbeaten and long may it continue.
  8. Hoping for the win. Tomorrow promises to be exciting for a variety of reasons. What i would like is for the team not too let all that excitment get to their heads and just concentrate on getting a win.

Esson Proctor, Bulvitis, Munro, Tokely Cox, McBain Hayes, Sanchez, Foran Rooney Subs: Allison, Stratford, Eagle, Ross, Odhiambo

He has never been my favourite player but this season when he has featured he has played a vital role in almost every game. Yesterday was the best i've ever seen him play, defensively he was so solid and he did as well as he could to start attacks. I wish Butcher had used him right from the start of the season.
  11. Would they ignore that fact that Ian McCall was Dundee United manager for about 5 years?
  12. Stratford and Djebi-Zadi back in the fold then :(
  13. Heres hoping the they appoint George Burley. A manager capable of nearly getting a team somewhere.
  14. Not a great match but i ain't complaining, this was always going to be hard and at the end of the day we have kept a clean sheet against one of the most tricky sides in the league. First half was drivvel but i thought the introduction of Eagle made a difference as he was unlucky not too score, that shot was a fizzer crashing of the post. Sanchez should have been introduced much earlier and Odi struggled to get into the game at any point. Best player was Duncan, defensively didn't put a foot wrong and did his best to start attacks. Esson also gets a thumbs up for some great goalkeeping ...and as usual, Barrowman didn't look like scoring. :( Dosen't matter who he plays for.
  15. This league will be even more competitive next season if Dundee aren't in it.
  16. Foran hands down. He brings so much to the team both attacking and defensively, he could probably play anywhere across the park and he is a leader and a battler. From what i hear he was much missed on Saturday and i think he will be a big miss for the County game. IMO our Irish trio are our most important players in the team.
  17. Coming away from that made me feel quite assured that we have some very promising talent in our ranks. Playing Sanchez was a mistake as he has now got this injury. He wasn't needed for this game.

Think the County game would be a tad unfair to throw Nick into. Esson Tokely, Bulvitis, Munro, Golabek Cox, Duncan Hayes, Sanchez, Odhiambo Rooney Subs: Allison, Proctor, Ross, McBain, Stratford
  19. I used to support a big team...their called Liverpool. :P

McBain, Sanchez, Hayes for me. I think Roy would be good becuase he has defensive qualities as well as attacking ones.
  21. Dislike them both with a passion.
  22. Another day and another hat trick for Adam Rooney. Pen was well taken and the other 2 strikes where immense. Our Irish trio cause Queens all kinds of problems all night. Eric, Coxy and Russeldinho also get my praise and Esson for that awesome save in the first half. Queens still look a neat side but just didn't seem up for it for whatever reason. I agree that the desire and work rate was there for all to see and if we replicate that for the rest of the season we will finish well. Oh yeah, the tannoy and the ref :)
  23. The queues are often long and spread out. Makes it a real test of endeavour and effort just to get to the toilet and take a freakin leak! And agree with Dornoch that they shut too early and are overpriced, they also tend to run out of stuff quickly.
  24. Good luck to him - he certainly will have his work cut out.
  25. Thrown it away against Dundee yet again. Would have taken a well fought point but not one that saw us throw a 2 goal lead away. 2 points out of a potential 6, must beat Queens now.
