  1. Regardless of whichever manager we want the fact is there is only 3 more months left of the season and the board cannot hide away in the dark twiddling their thumbs anymore, they have to put some sort of plan in place for the good of the club, i.e Butcher and Malpas, player contracts. It has to be done NOW and not when players and managerial staff are turning up voluntarily Ross County don't know what league they will be in next season, yet they have virtually their whole squad secure for a year or more. I for one am in favour of extending Butcher and Malpas's stay. They have brought the best out of players who at one point seemed to have no future at the club, they have unearthed some real gems in the transfer market and some duds but i'm sure they will learn. The fact is the team is unbeaten in the league for 3 months and we now have a settled squad. we have suffered some lows yes but it appears now that were beginning to learn from them and using them as motivation, alot of that has to go down to the manager surely. Stability and continuity is what the club needs right now.
  2. well done Stratford. 4-0, clean sheet, 4 scorers, sounds like a good day.
  3. Pars down to 10 now as well.
  4. WOW! You leave for a few minutes and it all happens.
  5. Cant believe Proctor has been dropped altogether. Sanchez dropped as well, slightly suprised. I know he hasn't been taking chances but he has been playing reasonably well, pleased to see Duncan back...never thought i'd say that. C'mon lads.

That was the Romnanian team I was meaning. And would the Danish have been from their "Second Division"? Actually i think it was the team that Played Queen of the South in the Uefa cup last season. And Bajram Fetai plays for them as well...but i forget their name.
  8. I do agree. Esson Tokely, Munro, Bulvitis, Shinnie Duncan, Cox Hayes, Sanchez, Foran Rooney subs: Allison, Djebi-Zadi, McBain, Proctor, Odhiambo

I recall a friendly we played against a Romanian team who were a dreadful bunch of hacks and they got a player sent off...but the ref said they could sub another player on to even up the teams. Also McAllister got a hat-trick against that Danish team last summer. Not quite bizarre friendlies but certainly bizarre moments in them.
  10. Good to see him go to an SPL club as i think Dundee would have been a step down for him. Hope he does well, given the age of Dods and how injury prone Webster and Wilkie are i can see Pavels establishing himself as a regular, good luck to him.
  11. That was excellent.

Is this still the case now that Barrowman has moved on? Was he one of the 4 making it now 3 tied after the summer. Correct, we now only have 3 players set for next season, which makes me all the more worried about our future prospects. ;)

I feel a bit of sympathy for him as well. Despite some of the stick he took and his games where he struggled despite trying hard i actually think he really liked it here and wanted to stay and i agree with what he says where he and Johnny Hayes could have played in the same team. Hope he does well at Hamilton.

Once this flash in the pan season is over we will have a serious bit of re-building in the summer. Unless miracles do still exist and we win the league, but that would leave having to review everything i think about modern football, life and the universe.
  17. You can now understand why it took so long for them to post. A descriptive piece like this takes much time to prepare.
  18. I'am very suprised we payed off Barrowman, dissapointed that Dougie has gone but thats life. I do hope that we got Duff and maybe someone else but news is hard to come by atm.

How old is Fernanadez now? He may do a job mind you. And the 25k would be much appreciated.

Wonder how long it's gonna take for something concrete to show up about all this. Good luck to the boy wherever we goes and as unlikely as it looks i do hope we get at least one new player.
  23. Just keep giving the ball to Lionel, and watch us breeze through...
  24. Anyone got the boards msn addy? B) Absolute quality.
